Stanton went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 7-3 win over the Giants.

Stanton padded the Yankees' lead with an eighth-inning blast. Prior to Saturday, he was stuck in a 1-for-20 slump over the previous five games. Stanton is up to 14 homers, 31 RBI, 24 runs scored, eight doubles and no stolen bases while slashing .231/.279/.487 over 52 contests this season.

Langford went 2-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored in a 7-0 win against the Marlins on Saturday.

Langford singled and scored a run in the fourth inning then added a two-run base hit in the ninth. In four games since returning from the injured list with a hamstring strain, Langford has posted two multi-hit efforts and totaled four RBI. Langford's current slash line of .229/.292/.290 has been disappointing, but he appears healthy and has started each game since his return from the injured list May 28.

Canha (hip) expects to play a full game Sunday versus the Red Sox, Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Canha is dealing with a psoas strain in his left hip and his ability to return to the lineup Sunday will be a big test for his status moving forward. If he suffers a setback, the 35-year-old will likely head to the injured list.

Yoshida (thumb) took live batting practice in Boston on Saturday, Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe reports.

Yoshida was able to take another step in his recovery from the strained left thumb that has sidelined him since May 1. The outfielder said Saturday that he is "over the injury and it's a matter of building up," according to Abraham. Yoshida will likely need to embark on a multi-start rehab assignment prior to being activated from the injured list.

Turner is out of the lineup Saturday versus the Pirates.

Turner will head to the bench after he went 2-for-11 with a double, two RBI, four walks and two strikeouts while starting the team's last three contests. Daniel Vogelbach will replace him at designated hitter and bat fifth against Pittsburgh.

Canha (hip) is not in the starting lineup Saturday versus the Red Sox, Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Canha was a late scratch from Friday's lineup due to left hip soreness, and he'll be forced to sit out again Saturday. Colt Keith will slot in at designated hitter while Zach McKinstry enters the lineup at second base and bats seventh against Boston.

Velazquez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional RBI in Friday's 11-8 loss to the Padres.

That's now five homers over Velazquez's last nine games. He was nearly the hero in the Royals' ninth-inning rally, which started with his solo shot and ended on a deep flyout to left-center field. The outfielder is slashing .220/.283/.415 with eight homers, 21 RBI, 25 runs scored and a stolen base over 49 contests, though he slugged .475 in May with a welcome return of the impactful power he showed in the second half of 2023.

Larnach went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Friday's 6-1 win over the Astros.

Larnach drew his fourth consecutive start hitting leadoff, as he appears to have secured that role against right-handed starters for the Twins. The 27-year-old outfielder launched a 401-foot home run off Ronel Blanco in fifth inning, extending Minnesota's lead to 4-1. Overall, Larnach is slashing .268/.327/.443 in 107 plate appearances this season.

Stanton is not in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Giants.

Stanton has struggled of late, going 1-for-20 with eight strikeouts over his last five games, and his slash line is down to .225/.275/.471 for the season. Trent Grisham will start in center field Friday while Aaron Judge serves as the designated hitter against Giants right-hander Jordan Hicks.

Canha was scratched from Friday's lineup against the Red Sox due to left hip soreness.

Canha was slated to serve as the designated hitter and bat in the cleanup spot Friday, but the 35-year-old was removed from the lineup due to the injury. Colt Keith will shift to DH and Andy Ibanez will start at second base, while Gio Urshela moves up to fourth in the batting order against Red Sox right-hander Tanner Houck.
