Malloy went 1-for-3 with a walk and a grand slam in Sunday's 5-4 loss to the Blue Jays.

Malloy provided all of his team's offense, taking Toronto starter Kevin Gausman deep in the fifth inning with the bases loaded. The rookie now has six home runs through 35 games as he continues to show good power potential. He's also been striking out roughly 33 percent of the time, though he encouragingly didn't have any strikeouts Sunday and drew his 14th walk of the season. If Malloy can continue to refine his approach at the plate, he could be primed for a strong finish to the year.

Garver is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Astros.

Garver has gone 0-for-6 with two walks and four strikeouts to begin the second half and will sit for Sunday's contest. Mitch Haniger will bat seventh as the designated hitter in the series finale versus Houston.

O'Hearn is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rangers while he contends with a sore left knee, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

The 30-year-old had his left knee wrapped following Saturday's 8-4 win after he was hit by a pitch earlier in the contest, but the lefty-hitting O'Hearn likely would have been on the bench Sunday regardless of the injury since southpaw Andrew Heaney is pitching for Texas. O'Hearn will have Monday's team off day to rest up ahead of Tuesday's series opener against the Marlins.

The Yankees will likely decide on a date for Stanton's (hamstring) return from the 10-day injured list by the end of next week, MLB.com reports.

Stanton ran the bases on the field Friday in his most recent step toward recovering from a strained left hamstring. Manager Aaron Boone said Saturday that the slugger "is in a pretty good spot" in terms of his progress and indicated that a return is a matter of building stamina. The Yankees haven't determined whether Stanton will go on a rehab assignment -- if he forgoes that option, he could be back in the New York lineup at some point during their series in Boston that begins Friday.

Yoshida will sit Saturday against the Dodgers, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports.

Yoshida will get a breather as Boston faces left-hander Justin Wrobleski. Tyler O'Neill will handle the designated hitter role while Romy Gonzalez enters the lineup at shortstop after some shuffling.

Malloy will serve as Detroit's designated hitter and No. 2 batter in Saturday's game against the Blue Jays.

Malloy didn't appear in Friday's 5-4 win while the Blue Jays brought righty Chris Bassitt to the mound, but the rookie will crack the lineup Saturday versus southpaw Yusei Kikuchi. Malloy has shown decent pop in a part-time role, hitting five home runs across 33 games, though he's batting just .219 and has struck out in 34.5 percent of his plate appearances. He'll need to be a bit more consistent if he wants to earn more playing time against righties.

Stanton (hamstring) ran the bases at Yankee Stadium before Friday's game, Chris Kirschner of The Athletic reports.

It would appear to be the first time he has run the bases since going down with a left hamstring strain nearly a month ago. Stanton did not look to be running at 100 percent, but it's nonetheless a big step and signifies that a return to game action could be close. The Yankees have not yet indicated whether Stanton will require a rehab assignment before being activated.

Manager Aaron Boone said that Stanton (hamstring) won't be reinstated from the 10-day injured list when the Yankees open their second-half schedule Friday versus the Rays, but the 34-year-old could be activated soon thereafter, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

Additionally, the skipper said that the Yankees remain undecided on whether will need to complete a minor-league rehab assignment before returning from the IL. Stanton was placed on the IL on June 23 with a left hamstring strain and was projected to miss around four weeks, and that timeline still looks to be accurate now that he's hit the three-week mark in his recovery process. Stanton will continue his rehab program during the All-Star break and could bypass a rehab assignment if the Yankees feel comfortable with how his hamstring is responding to live batting practice and pregame running. Fantasy managers shouldn't plan on Stanton being available for the start of the four-game series with the Rays, but a return from the IL the week after looks realistic.

Turner is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks.

The 39-year-old will get a break in the series finale after he had started in each of the last six games while going just 1-for-24 with nine strikeouts. George Springer will get a day out of the outfield and will replace Turner as the Blue Jays' designated hitter.

Calhoun will start at designated hitter and bat cleanup in Sunday's game against the Mariners.

Calhoun is back in the lineup for the Angels' final game before the All-Star break, but he had started just once in the Halos' previous six matchups against right-handed starting pitchers. The recent return of Anthony Rendon from the injured list appears to have spelled an end to Calhoun's time as a strong-side platoon player for the Angels, even after he starred in Friday's 6-5 win with two home runs and four RBI.
