Perez was optioned to Triple-A Charlotte on Monday, per the MLB's transactions log.

Perez was promoted to the big leagues at the beginning of July and wasn't able to get much going at the dish. He went 1-for-11 with a double and an RBI, and he'll now head to the minors where he'll have a better chance to see consistent at-bats. The White Sox have yet to announce a corresponding move.

Perez (thumb) remains on the 10-day injured list due to a fractured left thumb.

Perez has been out of action since July 4 after suffering the injury, and while the Oakland medical staff determined shortly after he was placed on the IL that he won't need surgery, he's yet to make much progress. The backstop is without a concrete timetable for a return at this time.

Perez hasn't seen any action since July 1 after going down with a left thumb fracture, but he's since been activated and will now make his way to the minors. The White Sox are expected to announce a corresponding move prior to Tuesday's matchup with the Giants.

Contreras (hip) isn't in the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Diamondbacks, Katie Woo of The Athletic reports.

The Cardinals will give the backstop another day to recover from a right hip issue that has held him out since Saturday. Andrew Knizner draws the start behind the dish and will bat ninth.

Jansen (forearm) is not in the starting lineup Monday versus the Dodgers.

Jansen will miss Monday's contest after exiting Sunday's matchup with Mariners due to a left forearm contusion. He can be considered day-to-day for the time being with Alejandro Kirk replacing him at catcher and batting seventh in the series opener with the Dodgers. Per Arden Zwelling of Sportsnet.ca, Jansen will be available to hit off the bench if need be.

Casali was placed on the 10-day injured list Monday with a left foot contusion, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

It's not clear when or how Casali suffered the injury, but he will be on the shelf for a bit. The Reds have been carrying three catchers, so they'll now go to a more traditional two-catcher setup.

Herrera was optioned to Triple-A Memphis on Monday.

Herrera will head back to Memphis after he spent nearly three weeks with the major-league squad, going 8-for-23 with a double, two RBI and three runs scored over eight contests. With Andrew Knizner back as the team's backup catcher, Herrera will look to continue to impress at Triple-A in order to return to St. Louis' roster later this season.

Raleigh is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Twins.

Raleigh appears to be receiving some routine maintenance after he caught both of the final two games of the Mariners' weekend series with the Blue Jays. Tom Murphy will spell Raleigh behind the dish in the series opener in Minnesota.

Naylor is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Royals.

The lefty-hitting Naylor has now been on the bench for four of the Guardians' last five contests, though Cleveland opposed left-handed starters in three of those games. He still appears to be the Guardians' preferred backstop versus right-handed pitching, but even his hold on a strong-side platoon role could be tenuous. Since getting a call-up from Triple-A Columbus on June 17, Naylor is hitting .191 with two home runs and a 29.7 percent strikeout rate over 74 plate appearances.

Rutschman is not in the starting lineup Monday against the Phillies.

Rutschman will get a breather after he went 2-for-14 with a double, two RBI and a run scored while starting all four games of the Orioles' series with the Rays. James McCann will draw the start behind the plate and bat eighth in the series opener with Philadelphia.
