Wynns cleared waivers Thursday and accepted an outright assignment to Triple-A Louisville, C. Trent Rosecrans of The Athletic reports.

The 33-year-old backstop was dropped from the 40-man roster Tuesday following the return of Tyler Stephenson but will remain in the Reds' farm system instead of testing his luck in the open market. Wynns has slashed .250/.309/.410 in 110 plate appearances with the Bats, and he would be the first choice to return to Cincinnati should Stephenson or Luke Maile need to miss an extended period of time.

Rutschman isn't in the Orioles' lineup for Thursday's game against the Mariners.

Rutschman will get a day to regroup Thursday after being held hitless in 13 at-bats over his last four games. James McCann will instead get the nod to start at catcher while batting ninth.

Langeliers isn't in the Athletics' lineup for Thursday's game against the Angels.

Langeliers will get a breather after he went 1-for-4 and stole a base during Wednesday's win. Kyle McCann will start behind the plate instead and bat fifth.

Phillies manager Rob Thomson said Thursday that Realmuto (knee) is working out at 70-to-75 percent intensity, Corey Seidman of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.

Realmuto is three weeks removed from right meniscus surgery and is progressing nicely. The club is not ruling out a return for their starting catcher prior to the All-Star break if he proves to be ready by then, but it's probably more likely that Realmuto is held out until the start of the second half.

Fry is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the White Sox.

Fry has a .606 OPS over his past 12 games and will take a seat for Thursday's contest. Jose Ramirez will rest his legs as the designated hitter while Gabriel Arias receives a start at the hot corner.

Heim is not in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Padres.

It's an afternoon game Thursday after Heim had caught each of the first two games of the series, so he will begin this one on the bench. Andrew Knizner will be behind the dish for the Rangers.

Raleigh went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to the Orioles on Wednesday.

The Mariners' offense remained mired in a funk Wednesday, but Raleigh prevented a shutout defeat with a sixth-inning, 423-foot shot to center for the final run of the night for either team. The slugging backstop has now left the yard in three of his last eight games, putting him halfway to the career-best total of 30 homers he established last season.

Langeliers went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and a run in a win over the Angels on Wednesday.

The power-hitting backstop showed off the wheels following his sixth-inning single, working his way into scoring position with a steal of second and subsequently racing home on Brett Harris' knock for the Athletics' fifth and final run of the night. Langeliers, who now has a career-high four stolen bases, has hit safely in three of his last four games, and while he maintains a forgettable .204 average and .256 OBP, he's sporting a solid .427 slugging percentage thanks to having laced 25 of his 52 hits for extra bases.

Stephenson is not in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Yankees.

Stephenson was behind the dish for the first two games of the series, so it makes sense to give him a breather for Thursday's matinee. Luke Maile will do the catching for Frankie Montas.

Moreno went 3-for-5 with a double and a two-run homer in Wednesday's win over the Dodgers.

Moreno doubled in his first at-bat before adding a two-run shot in the third to tie the game at 4-4. The catcher went on to reach three times in the contest and has now hit safely in each of his first two games since returning from a thumb injury. It marked Moreno's third three-hit performance of the campaign, and he's now homered in two of his last three games (dating back to June 21).
