Murphy is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Cardinals.

After catching back-to-back games, Murphy will yield to Travis d'Arnaud behind the plate Tuesday. Murphy owns a .618 OPS with a 27.4 percent strikeout rate across 73 plate appearances.

Kelly isn't part of the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Phillies.

Kelly will give way to Jake Rogers behind the dish for the fifth time in eight games. Kelly is batting 10-for-33 (.303) with two home runs in June.

Perez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's 4-1 win over the Marlins.

Perez had gone 0-for-14 over his previous four games, and he'd gone seven contests without an extra-base hit. Both droughts ended when the catcher went back-to-back with Vinnie Pasquantino in the fourth inning, with Perez's homer serving as the decisive run. A poor June -- 11-for-57 (.157) over 20 games -- has taken some of the shine off of what was a strong start to the year for Perez. He's now slashing .280/.352/.462 with 12 homers, 46 RBI, 29 runs scored and 15 doubles through 77 contests.

Kelly went 2-for-3 with an RBI in Monday's 8-1 loss to the Phillies.

Detroit sputtered on the mound and at the plate, but Kelly still had a solid performance. The backstop was making his first appearance in three days, pushing Jake Rogers to the bench in the process. Kelly and Rogers are splitting time behind the plate fairly evenly so far this season, though Kelly has been the better offensive option overall with a .711 OPS, compared to just .603 for Rogers. The latter has the slight edge in home runs, however, five to four.

Raleigh went 1-for-2 with a solo home run, a stolen base and two walks in Monday's 4-3 loss to Tampa Bay.

Raleigh slugged his 13th home run of the season, his first since June 10. The 27-year-old has batted just .178 over the past two weeks, but he has added two home runs, three doubles, two stolen bases and 11 RBI during that span.

Amaya is not in the starting lineup Monday against the Giants.

Amaya will take a seat after he went 1-for-3 with a strikeout in Sunday's series finale versus the Mets. Tomas Nido will take over behind the plate and bat eighth in the opener versus San Francisco.

Fermin is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Marlins.

Fermin is on the bench for the second day in a row, but his playing time could be on the upswing nonetheless while he's produced a .271/.314/.500 slash line through the first three and a half weeks of June. In addition to filling in at catcher on days that top backstop Salvador Perez gets days off behind the dish, Fermin will factor into the equation at designated hitter, where he had made two of his last three starts.

Fry (elbow) will start at designated hitter and bat fifth in Monday's game against the Orioles.

Fry's status heading into the series opener in Baltimore was somewhat murky after he was forced out of Sunday's 6-5 win over Toronto with right elbow inflammation, but the 29-year-old is apparently feeling well enough to stick in the lineup Monday in a non-defensive role. Once the elbow issue fully subsides, expect Fry to mix in behind the plate and in the corner outfield along with at DH as the Guardians make a concerted effort to keep his productive bat in the lineup.

Jansen is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Red Sox.

Jansen will retreat to the bench after he started behind the plate in three of the Blue Jays' previous four games. Alejandro Kirk will handle the catching duties in the series opener in Boston.

Pages is out of the lineup for Monday's game against Atlanta.

Pages briefly climbed to the top spot on the depth chart at catcher after Ivan Herrera (back) joined Willson Contreras (forearm) on the 10-day injured list Saturday, but Contreras was activated ahead of Monday's game and will slot in behind the plate for the series opener versus Atlanta. The Cardinals could manage Contreras' workload more carefully in his first week back with the team, but Pages will likely be headed for a stark downturn in playing time in any case. Pages had started each of the Cardinals' last four games and nine of the past 10.
