Sean Murphy C | ATL
Braves' Sean Murphy: Launches grand slam
Murphy went 2-for-4 with a grand slam and a double in Saturday's 6-1 win over Philadelphia.
His long ball in the seventh inning gave Atlanta some breathing room after Philadelphia had pulled within a run in the sixth. Prior to that, Murphy had gone 14 games without a homer, batting just .190 (8-for-42) in that span. He's up to 10 homers on the year, matching his 72-game total from last year. Murphy has added 26 RBI, 16 runs scored, five doubles and a .225/.319/.450 slash line across 49 contests in 2025 while sharing catching duties with Drake Baldwin.

Braves' Drake Baldwin: On bench Saturday
Baldwin is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against Philadelphia.

Will Smith C | LAD
Dodgers' Will Smith: Beginning on bench Saturday
Smith isn't in the starting nine for Saturday's game against Kansas City.
Smith will get at least a partial day off his feet after starting both of Los Angeles' previous two games. Rookie Dalton Rushing is getting a chance to start behind the plate Saturday and is batting ninth for Los Angeles.

Hunter Goodman RF | COL
Rockies' Hunter Goodman: Still out Saturday
Goodman (hamstring) isn't in the starting lineup Saturday versus Milwaukee.
It's a third straight absence for Goodman, who has been diagnosed with tightness in his hamstring. The powerful catcher has been Colorado's best hitter this season, leading the team with an .844 OPS, 14 homers and 48 RBI. Braxton Fulford is getting another start behind the plate in Goodman's stead Saturday.

Danny Jansen C | MIL
Rays' Danny Jansen: Sitting Saturday
Jansen is not in the Rays' starting lineup against the Orioles on Saturday, Ryan Bass of FanDuel Sports Network Sun reports.
Jansen has logged at least one RBI in each of his last five starts and has gone 5-for-18 (.278) with four runs scored, two home runs and seven RBI over that span. He'll get a breather Saturday while Matt Thaiss serves behind home plate and bats ninth.

Joe Mack C | MIA
Marlins' Joe Mack: Waking up at Triple-A
Mack went 4-for-5 with a solo home run, two additional runs scored and a stolen base Friday for Triple-A Jacksonville.
His contributions didn't end with his bat -- the catcher also guided four Jumbo Shrimp pitchers to a combined no-hitter and 14 strikeouts over nine innings. Mack appears to be finding his groove again after a month-long slump from late May into June that saw him slash .133/.216/.173 with a 29.5 percent strikeout rate in 88 plate appearances. Over his last four games, he's gone 9-for-18 with a double and two homers. With Agustin Ramirez leading a trio of backstops on the big-league roster, the Marlins have the luxury of not rushing Mack to the majors, but he could be ready to contribute in Miami later on this season.
