Hall was outrighted to High-A Wisconsin on Sunday.

Hall was surprisingly called up from the High-A level on Thursday, but that may have just been a result of the Brewers wanting to bring up a catcher from the minors that was playing at an affiliate close in proximity to Milwaukee after Omar Narvaez (illness) was placed on the COVID-19-related injured list. Alex Jackson was able to arrive in Milwaukee from Triple-A Nashville on Friday, so Hall was ultimately moved off the 40-man roster without playing in a game for the big club. As expected, he wasn't claimed off waivers, so the 23-year-old will stay in the organization and head back to Wisconsin.

Hedges is starting at catcher and batting ninth in Monday's series opener versus the Rangers.

After missing two straight contests with a hip issue, Hedges will return to the starting lineup Monday. Following an 0-for-11 stretch, he has gone 3-for-8 with a three run homer in his last two games.

Herrera will start at catcher and bat ninth in Monday's game against the Reds.

With the Diamondbacks deploying Daulton Varsho more frequently at designated hitter of late, Herrera has been able to pick up some extra work behind the plate. He'll be making his third consecutive start Monday, coming off a weekend series in Pittsburgh in which he went 1-for-5 with two strikeouts. Though he looks like he'll play more frequently than most No. 2 catchers, Herrera brings more value on the defensive end than he provides with the bat.

Heim is not in the starting lineup for Monday's series opener versus the Guardians.

Heim is out of the lineup Monday after going 0-for-4 with a strikeout in Sunday's loss to the Mariners. Sam Huff will get the start behind the plate and bat sixth in the series opener.

Hedges was held out of the lineup for the final two games of the Guardians' weekend series with the Orioles after tweaking his left hip late in Friday's 6-3 win, Joe Trezza of MLB.com reports.

After receiving Saturday off, Hedges was expected to be ready to go for Sunday's series finale, but the Guardians opted to give him an extra day off to heal up. Cleveland hasn't added another catcher to the active roster as insurance, so Hedges appears likely to avoid a trip to the injured list. The Guardians return to action Monday against the Rangers.

Grandal went 1-for-4 with a walk and two RBI on Sunday against the Rays.

Grandal has shown very few signs of breaking out of a season-long slump, and his RBI on Sunday was his first in his last nine starts. In that span, he had collected just two hits in 33 at-bats. Overall, Grandal is hitting .163/.274/.213 across 186 plate appearances.

Serven went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 8-7 loss to the Atlanta.

Serven continues to make the most of his limited playing time -- he's logged multiple hits in two of his last three starts behind the dish. The 27-year-old catcher went yard in the eighth inning Sunday, nearly sparking a comeback effort for the Rockies in the close loss. He's hitting .303 with a .919 OPS, three homers, nine RBI and four runs scored in 35 plate appearances.

Garver went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 6-5 extra-inning loss to the Mariners.

Garver stretched the Rangers' lead to 5-2 in the eighth inning, though reliever Matt Bush gave it all back in the ninth. Since returning from knee soreness May 30, Garver is 7-for-28 (.250) in seven contests. The 31-year-old has a .220/.295/.424 slash line with seven long balls, 16 RBI, 15 runs scored, a stolen base and six doubles in 149 plate appearances this year.

Perez went 2-for-3 with a home run, a double, three RBI and a walk in Sunday's 7-4 loss to the Astros.

Perez seems to be pulling out of his slump, as he's posted multiple extra-base hits in each of his last two games on the heels of a 1-for-23 skid. The catcher took Framber Valdez deep in the sixth inning and added an RBI double in the eighth in Sunday's loss. Perez is now slashing .199/.240/.404 with eight homers, 22 RBI, 17 runs scored and 10 doubles through 42 contests. It's the first time his slugging percentage has been over .400 since May 15.

Murphy is not in Sunday's lineup against the Red Sox, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

Murphy is hitting .162 with one home run over his last 10 games. Christian Bethancourt will start at catcher and bat fifth.
