Realmuto went 2-for-4 with two home runs and four RBI in Wednesday's win over Miami.

Bryce Harper got the Phillies on the board with a solo shot in the top of the sixth inning, and Realmuto went back-to-back to put the Phillies up 2-1. Realmuto later broke the game open with a three-run blast in the seventh inning. The multi-home run effort was the catcher's first of the season and brings his total to 18. He is within striking distance of a 20-20 season with 17 stolen bases, and he would be just the second catcher ever to accomplish the feat.

Quero wrapped the 2022 regular season at High-A Inland Empire with a .312/.435/.530 batting line, 17 homers and 12 steals through 111 games.

There are few -- if any -- flaws to be found in Quero's stat line this season. He led the 66ers in average, homers, RBI (75) and runs (86), and he did so while putting up a terrific 73:91 BB:K. To highlight just how special this season was for the 19-year-old Quero, when J.T. Realmuto was his age, he hit .175 in rookie ball. Switch-hitting catchers with both power and speed -- not to mention the polish to put up a .965 OPS in full-season ball at 19 -- pretty much don't exist, so while Quero has gotten shockingly little hype in dynasty circles thus far, he won't fly under the radar for long. Of course, he's still several years removed from the big leagues.

Adams will start at catcher and bat ninth in Wednesday's game against the Orioles.

Adams will make his third start in the Nationals' five games since Keibert Ruiz was placed on the 10-day injured list Friday with a testicular contusion, which is expected to end his season. Though his playing-time outlook is more promising with Ruiz out of the picture, Adams doesn't look as though he'll be the clear-cut No. 1 option behind the dish. Israel Pineda started both of the past two contests, and the Nationals also have a third catcher on the 28-man active roster in Tres Barrera.

Kirk isn't in the lineup Wednesday against the Rays.

Kirk is getting a day off after he hit .333 with two doubles, six RBI, four runs, three walks and five strikeouts over the last eight games. Vladimir Guerrero will rest his legs as the designated hitter during Wednesday's matchup.

Pineda is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Orioles.

Following Keibert Ruiz's (groin) placement on the injured list Friday, Pineda has picked up two starts behind the plate, while Riley Adams will draw his third Wednesday. The Nationals also have Tres Barrera on the 28-man active roster, so a messy three-way timeshare at catcher could be on tap for the rest of the season while Ruiz is on the shelf.

Mejia isn't in the lineup Wednesday against the Blue Jays, Neil Solondz of the Rays Radio Network reports.

Mejia has alternated starts behind the dish recently and will retreat to the bench after he went 0-for-3 with a walk and a strikeout in Tuesday's nightcap. Christian Bethancourt is starting at catcher and batting seventh.

McCann isn't starting Wednesday against the Cubs.

McCann started the last two games and went 1-for-7 with an RBI. He'll get a breather while Tomas Nido starts behind the plate and bats ninth.

Stallings is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Phillies, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

Stallings and Nick Fortes have now alternated turns behind the plate for the past eight games, with the latter catcher getting the starting nod Wednesday. Expect a rough timeshare between the two to remain in place the rest of the season while Miami plays out the string on a non-contending season.

Bart isn't in the lineup Wednesday against Atlanta, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Bart went 1-for-3 with a strikeout Tuesday but will head to the bench for the second time in the last three games. Austin Wynns will take over behind the dish and bat ninth.

Nola isn't in the lineup Wednesday against the Mariners.

Nola is getting a day off after he went 2-for-8 with a run and a strikeout over the last three games. Jorge Alfaro will start behind the dish and bat ninth.
