Willson Contreras C | BOS
Cardinals' Willson Contreras: Goes deep Friday
Contreras went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Friday's 8-6 win over the Red Sox.
Contreras had gone 19 games without a homer, hitting. 275 with six doubles and nine RBI in that span. His long ball Friday helped spark the Cardinals' rally in the sixth inning. He's slashing .263/.340/.406 with three homers, 18 RBI, 18 runs scored, two stolen bases and 10 doubles over 37 contests this season.

Elias Diaz C | KC
Rockies' Elias Diaz: Swipes bag Friday
Diaz went 1-for-4 with a stolen base in Friday's 6-3 loss to the Phillies.
Diaz picked up his first steal of the season in the ninth inning after hitting a leadoff single. He's hit safely in six of seven games in May during which he's recorded a plate appearance. The catcher is up to a .330/.385/.468 slash line with three home runs, 18 RBI, 14 runs scored and six doubles through 34 contests. With Austin Wynns replacing Brian Serven as Colorado's backup catcher, it appears Diaz will have more of a true starting role behind the dish -- he's started two of every three games recently.

J.T. Realmuto C | PHI
Phillies' J.T. Realmuto: X-rays come back negative
Phillies manager Rob Thomson told reporters after Friday's game that Realmuto (finger) will probably not play Saturday against the Rockies, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.
Realmuto left Friday's game with a sprained right pinky in the seventh inning, but X-rays came back negative and he isn't expected to miss much time. If the backstop does sit out Saturday, Garrett Stubbs will fill in at catcher.

J.T. Realmuto C | PHI
Phillies' J.T. Realmuto: Leaves with sprained right pinky
Realmuto left Friday's game against the Rockies with a sprained right pinky, Alex Coffey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports. He went 1-for-2 before leaving.
Realmuto was unable to continue after the seventh inning and was replaced by Garrett Stubbs. For now Realmuto should be considered day-to-day, but it's very likely he'll miss at least a game or two while recovering, and a trip to the injured list can't be ruled out.

Luis Campusano C | SD
Padres' Luis Campusano: Out two months after thumb surgery
Campusano underwent ligament surgery on his left thumb Friday and he'll be out at least two months, Dennis Lin of The Athletic reports.
Campusano will likely now be held out until after the All-Star break. The backstop appeared to be making progress after catching for pitchers last weekend, but ultimately the Padres felt the best course was to have him undergo surgery now. With Campusano out, Austin Nola and Brett Sullivan will continue to share catching duties.

Austin Nola C | COL
Padres' Austin Nola: On bench Friday
Nola is out of the starting lineup Friday against the Dodgers.
Brett Sullivan will catch and bat ninth versus the Dodgers and right-hander Dustin May. Nola has slashed just .135/.250/.192 this year off righties.

Travis d'Arnaud C | LAA
Braves' Travis d'Arnaud: In DH spot Friday
D'Arnaud is starting in the designated hitter spot and batting seventh for Atlanta on Friday in Toronto, Grant McAuley of 929 The Game reports.
D'Arnaud has now started two of three since returning from the concussion injured list, with one coming at catcher and the other at DH. Sean Murphy will catch Spencer Strider, and Marcell Ozuna will be on the bench.
