    Gomes drove in three runs in the game, none bigger than with his RBI single in the ninth inning to send the game to extras. He went 3 for 6 with one run and two strikeouts.

    Gomes has multiple hits in three games in the midst of a six-game hitting streak. He is hitting .272/.318/.409 on the season.

    Perez only saw nine pitches on the night, but he was still able to collect two extra-base hits. He now has recorded hits in 19 of his 21 games this month. Perez has hit .287/.336/.457 with nine home runs and 27 RBI in 258 at-bats thanks in part to the hot June performance.
