Rafael Devers 3B | SF
Red Sox's Rafael Devers: Survives injury scare
Devers experienced shoulder discomfort after attempting a diving stop on a grounder in Tuesday's 6-0 win over the Rockies, but he was able to stay in and finish the game, MLB.com reports. He went 2-for-4 with two doubles, a walk, an RBI and a run in the victory.
Red Sox manager Alex Cora said the shoulder was jammed and noted Devers took some "vicious hacks" later in the game. Cora added Devers would be ready to go for Wednesday's series finale.

Josh H. Smith SS | TEX
Rangers' Josh Smith: Integral in win
Smith went 2-for-4 with a stolen base, an RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the White Sox.
Smith scored the Rangers' second run when he stole home on a double-steal in the first inning. It was his sixth steal in seven attempts. The infielder later gave the team a 3-1 lead in the eighth inning with a run-producing double. That insurance run became important when reliever Josh Sborz permitted a leadoff home run in the next frame. For Smith, the two-hit night halted an 0-for-14 skid since returning from the All-Star break.

Nolan Arenado 3B | ARI
Cardinals' Nolan Arenado: Homers in Tuesday's win
Arenado went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 2-1 win over the Pirates.
Arenado showed some veteran savvy, opening the scoring with his fifth-inning solo shot off Pirates wunderkind Paul Skenes. While Arenado is just 3-for-18 over five games since the All-Star break, two of those hits have landed over the fence. The third baseman is up to 10 long balls, 42 RBI, 40 runs scored, 14 doubles and one stolen base while slashing .265/.319/.387 through 95 contests.

Jose Ramirez 3B | CLE
Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Homers in victory
Ramirez went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and a second RBI in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Tigers.
Ramirez put the Guardians ahead 3-2 in the fifth inning with a homer off Joey Wentz, his 24th this year, before driving in what proved to be the deciding run with an RBI single in the sixth. The home run snapped a stretch of 18 games without a long ball for the All-Star third baseman -- he'd posted a subpar .590 OPS in that span. Overall, Ramirez is slashing .274/.325/.518 through 422 plate appearances this season with 82 RBI (second most in the majors behind Aaron Judge), 72 runs scored and 18 stolen bases.

Luis Rengifo 2B | MIL
Angels' Luis Rengifo: Activated, batting second Tuesday
The Angels reinstated Rengifo (wrist) from the 10-day injured list Tuesday, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.
Rengifo has been out of action for nearly three weeks due to right wrist inflammation, and he'll now serve as the Angels' DH in his first game back from the IL. Prior to getting injured, the 27-year-old slashed .315/.358/.442 with six homers and 25 RBI while swiping 22 bags in 69 games. Keston Hiura was designated for assignment in a corresponding move.

Jose Miranda 3B | MIN
Twins' Jose Miranda: Beginning rehab assignment
Miranda (back) will report to Triple-A St. Paul to start a rehab assignment Wednesday, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.
The 26-year-old landed on the injured list just before the All-Star break due to a lower-back strain, and he's on track to return after missing little more than the 10-day minimum. Miranda could get in two rehab games with St. Paul and potentially be with the MLB club for Friday's series opener in Detroit.

Ryan McMahon 3B | NYY
Rockies' Ryan McMahon: Remaining out Tuesday
McMahon (finger) isn't in the Rockies' lineup Tuesday against the Red Sox.
A jammed finger prevented McMahon from starting Monday's game, and he'll need at least another day to recover before returning to Colorado's starting nine. Aaron Schunk will pick up another start at third base and bat ninth Tuesday.

Edwin Rios 3B | CIN
Reds' Edwin Rios: Sticking around with Reds
Rios signed a minor-league deal with the Reds on Tuesday, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Rios was designated for assignment Friday and elected free agency. However, after spending the weekend testing the open market, he'll return to the Reds organization on a minor-league pact. The 30-year-old slashed .236/.333/.483 in 204 plate appearances with Triple-A Louisville.

Jeimer Candelario 3B | LAA
Reds' Jeimer Candelario: Getting rare day off
Candelario is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against Atlanta.
Candelario is absent from the starting lineup in what will be his first true day off since April. The 30-year-old is slashing .236/.292/.448 with 16 home runs across 370 plate appearances. Noelvi Marte will play third base and Santiago Espinal will DH.

Jordan Diaz 3B | ATH
Athletics' Jordan Diaz: Enjoying solid year in Vegas
Diaz owns a .281 average and .836 OPS across 272 plate appearances over 66 games with Triple-A Las Vegas this season.
Diaz has spent the entire season with the Aviators, and he no longer holds a spot on the Athletics' 40-man roster after being designated for assignment May 23. However, the 23-year-old, who already boasted two very successful stints with Las Vegas during his minor-league career prior to his current Triple-A tenure, has put together a well-rounded line that includes 24 extra-base hits (11 doubles, one triple, 12 home runs), 46 RBI, 25 walks, 38 runs and a respectable 19.5 percent strikeout rate. Given he was able to occasionally hold his own against big-league pitching in each of the last two seasons (.634 OPS, 22 extra-base hits and 28 RBI across 105 games) and his youth, it wouldn't be out of the question for Diaz to be given another look in Oakland before the end of the season, perhaps as a September promotion.
