Peterson is in the lineup and batting seventh for Monday's game against the Reds.

Peterson is coming off a successful series against the Cubs in which he combined to go 3-for-5 with two walks and three runs scored in two starts. The 26-year-old will look to keep it going Monday while Chase d'Arnaud takes the day off.

Asche went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Sunday's loss to the Nationals.

The home run was Asche's first of the season, and it gave him a a five-game hitting streak. He's been seeing regular playing time in left field since coming off the disabled list earlier this month, offering some utility in NL-only formats.

Longoria went 2-for-4 with an RBI in Sunday's win over the Astros.

He's putting together an impressive month of June, hitting .359 (14-for-39) with six home runs, 11 RBI and nine runs scored. The Rays have won seven of their last nine in large part due to Longoria's surging bat, and while they remain in last place in the AL East, they're just 6.5 games back of the Orioles and Red Sox with plenty of time to make up ground.

Alvarez went 2-for-3 with a walk, two runs scored, two RBI and his seventh home run of the season in Sunday's 10-9 loss to the Blue Jays.

The Orioles cranked out five homers Sunday and still managed to lose, but you can't fault Alvarez. He's now popped four home runs in 10 June games while hitting .355 (11-for-31) on the month with eight RBI and seven runs.

Machado went 2-for-5 with a double and two runs scored in Sunday's 10-9 loss to the Blue Jays.

That's three multi-hit performances in his last four games, pushing Machado's slash line on the season to .308/.376/.600. He'll need to begin serving his four-game suspension soon, but given how dialed in he is at the plate it's easy to see why he'd be reluctant to take a break.

Peterson is out of the lineup Sunday against the Cubs.

Peterson had made back-to-back starts at second base, but will sit in favor of Chase d'Arnaud for the afternoon contest. The 26-year-old Peterson did manage to catch a break, however, as infielder Daniel Castro was instead chosen for a demotion Sunday when a roster spot was needed to accommodate the activation of Erick Aybar (foot). Even though he remains with the club, Peterson and his .572 OPS will likely be limited to sporadic starts near the bottom of the batting order.

Muncy is out of the lineup Sunday against the Reds.

After trading Chris Coghlan to the Cubs a few days earlier, Muncy looks to be penciled into a platoon with Jake Smolinski in right field. As the left-handed hitter of the two, Muncy figures to garner the larger share of starts for the time being, but with southpaw John Lamb on the mound Sunday for the opposition, Smolinski will enter the lineup.

Duffy went 1-for-4 with a solo-homer in Friday's 3-2 loss to the Dodgers.

Duffy batted third - as he usually does against southpaws - and homered off of Clayton Kershaw in the first inning of Friday's contest. The homer was his first since April 6 and could be a sign that he is finally starting to heat up. As previously mentioned, his walk and strikeout rates have both improved over his stellar rookie campaign, but his .237 batting average is being suppressed by a .260 BABIP. He is a decent buy-low candidate in deeper leagues, and a guy to monitor in standard leagues where he may be available on waivers.

Machado went 3-for-5 with a double, home run and three runs scored in Saturday's wild 11-6 loss to the Blue Jays.

The 23-year-old slugger, currently appealing his four-game suspension for his part in a brawl with Yordano Ventura, brought out his big bat Saturday, tallying his second multi-hit outing over the last three games. Machado also went deep for the third time in June, reaching half of his May homer total in 11 games during the new month. Saturday's production brings his season line to a stellar .306/.376/.600, and with 16 round-trippers on the season already, he's on pace to surpass the career-high 35 homers he blasted in 2015.

Rendon went 1-for-4 with a double, two RBI and two runs scored in Saturday's 8-0 victory over the Phillies.

The 26-year-old's average is improving in June, as he's now hit safely in six of eight games during the month. That stretch has featured some timely hitting on Rendon's part, as he's managed three multi-RBI efforts and already has half of his May RBI total in just eight contests in the new month. He even robbed Peter Bourjos on a diving stop of his grounder in the fifth.
