Bregman (hamstring) is starting at third base and batting third Saturday against the Mariners, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Bregman was held out the past two games due to right hamstring soreness but is able to make his return to action Saturday. The 25-year-old is slashing .341/.440/.488 with one home run through 50 plate appearances and will look to stay hot versus Seattle starter Felix Hernandez.

Muncy (finger) is back in the lineup Saturday against the Brewers.

A minor finger injury kept Muncy out of the lineup for Friday's contest, but he was able to appear off the bench. He'll bat sixth and play first base Saturday.

Machado went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 2-1 win over the Diamondbacks.

His first-inning shot off Luke Weaver was his fourth homer of the year, but Machado also struck out in his other three plate appearances. Contact has been a bit of an issue to begin his stint with the Padres, but his .245/.355/.491 slash line through 15 games is still solid, and Machado's also added a steal, nine runs and eight RBI to his ledger. The career .282 hitter should see more hits fall in soon enough.

Rendon went 2-for-5 with a pair of home runs in a 6-3 loss to the Pirates on Friday.

The 28-year-old has been red hot, as he extended his hitting streak to 11 games with this performance. Rendon has eight multi-hit games and six homers during that stretch. Overall, he is hitting .426 with 13 extra-base hits, 16 RBI, 17 runs and a whopping 1.439 OPS.

Bregman tweaked his right hamstring during Tuesday's matchup, although the Astros are encouraged by his progress and are optimistic that he'll be back in the starting nine as early as Saturday. Brett Gardner has slotted into the leadoff role in 2019 with Aaron Hicks (back) on the shelf, although skipper Aaron Boone stated that "there could be some scenarios" in which LeMahieu bats leadoff against right-handers. Lemahieu has fared well against right-handed pitching so far this season and is hitting .394 with five RBI in 33 at-bats.
