Longoria is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Mets, Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

After starting each of the previous six contests, Longoria will receive a breather for the matinee game while Pablo Sandoval checks in at third base. Longoria has been mired in a slump of late, collecting only five hits in 30 at-bats over his past 10 games.

Devers went 2-for-5 with a home run, a double, three RBI and three runs scored in Wednesday's 8-0 win over the Royals.

Devers, who was named the AL Player of the Month for May, hasn't slowed down after the calendar flipped. He has three extra-base hits and has driven in six runs over the last three games. Devers ranks 12th in MLB with .316 batting average.

Moncada went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in a 6-4 loss to the Nationals on Wednesday.

The 24-year-old went deep in both installments of the two-game series against the Nationals, giving him three homers overall in the last six games. He is hitting .282 with 12 home runs, 37 RBI, 38 runs and five stolen bases in 234 at-bats this season.

LeMahieu went 3-for-5 with a home run and four overall RBI in Wednesday's 11-7 loss at Toronto.

LeMahieu broke a 4-4 tie with his three-run homer during the sixth inning, but the Yankees' bullpen was ultimately unable to hold the lead. The veteran infielder extended his hit streak to 10 games Wednesday and is hitting .283 with three home runs and 13 RBI in that span.

Anderson went 3-for-4 with a grand slam, double, stolen base and two runs scored Wednesday against the Brewers.

Anderson provided a spark to the Marlins' offense, connecting on a grand slam in the third inning to put the team up 5-1. It was his seventh home run of the season, five of which have come in his past 17 games. Anderson also chipped in his fourth stolen base of the campaign, giving him under-the-radar potential for meaningful production in the category. However, his hot stretch could be coming to a close with Miami heading back home to South Florida, as he's slugged just .358 in 125 plate appearances at Marlins Park.

Davis is not in the lineup Wednesday against San Francisco.

Davis had been logging frequent starts in left field recently. With Jeff McNeil and Robinson Cano returning from hamstring and quadriceps injuries Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively, the Mets' lineup is now suddenly much more crowded, and Davis could see his role reduced as a result. McNeil starts in left field Wednesday, with Todd Frazier slotting in at Davis' other position, third base.

Bregman went 2-for-4 with a double, three RBI and a run scored Tuesday in the Astros' 11-5 win over the Mariners.

The Houston lineup may be missing three of his fellow co-stars in Carlos Correa (ribs), George Springer (hamstring) and Jose Altuve (hamstring), but Bregman's counting stats haven't suffered for it lately. During his ongoing 10-game hitting streak, Bregman has reached base at a .413 percent clip while scoring nine runs and driving in eight.

Vargas is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Dodgers.

Vargas will hit the bench after starting the past four games and going 5-for-13 with a double and 1:1 K:BB during that stretch. Ketel Marte is covering the keystone Wednesday, with Jarrod Dyson getting a start in center field as a result.

Madrigal was promoted to Double-A Birmingham on Wednesday, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Madrigal found his groove with High-A Winston-Salem prior to earning a promotion, slashing .307/.372/.427 with two homers and 11 stolen bases over his last 19 games with the Dash. If the 22-year-old holds his own in his first go-around at Double-A, he could get a taste of Triple-A action before the end of the season.

Donaldson went 1-for-4 with two walks, a three-run home run and a second run scored in Tuesday's win over the Pirates.

It's the veteran third baseman's eighth homer of the season but his first since May 17, and Donaldson compiled a weak .233/.340/.256 slash line in 13 games between the blasts. Ender Inciarte (back) doesn't yet have a timetable for his return and only resumed baseball activities last week, but once he's back in the lineup, Donaldson's playing time could take a big hit as Austin Riley sees more action at the hot corner.
