Emerson went 2-for-4 with a triple, two RBI and a run scored in Wednesday's 9-1 win over the A's.

The multi-hit effort was Emerson's second in his last four games -- he's gone 6-for-14 with four extra-base hits in that span. The rookie infielder has gotten off to a strong start overall, slashing .258/.361/.516 with a home run, six RBI and five runs scored through his first 10 major-league contests.

Alexander went 3-for-4 with a home run, a double and six total RBI in Wednesday's 11-2 win over the Rays.

Alexander delivered the best offensive performance of his career, as he got started with a two-run single in the first inning, added a two-run double in the fifth and later crushed a two-run homer off Jonathan Heasley in the seventh to blow the game open. The long ball was his first homer of the season, while the six RBI marked a career high. Since May 2, Alexander has quietly been one of Baltimore's hottest hitters, posting a .367 batting average with a .404 OBP and .531 slugging percentage during that stretch. He's now batting .254 with a .646 OPS, 14 RBI, 14 runs scored and six stolen bases across 129 plate appearances this season.

McMahon went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and an additional run scored in Wednesday's 7-0 win over the Royals.

McMahon had been on the bench for the previous two games, presumably for matchup-related reasons. He's not struggling right now -- the third baseman has gone 6-for-21 (.286) with two homers, five RBI and a stolen base over his last six contests. On the season, he's hitting just .199 with a .594 OPS, five homers, 18 RBI, 14 runs scored, three steals and four doubles across 51 contests. McMahon has primarily worked as a strong-side platoon option this season. If his overall numbers don't improve, he could cede some time to Amed Rosario, who has an .835 OPS over 45 plate appearances versus right-handed pitchers despite being McMahon's main platoon partner at the hot corner.

Wagaman went 1-for-2 with a solo home run in Wednesday's win over the Reds.

Wagaman made the most out of his first start with the Mets, launching a home run to left field against Andrew Abbott in the second inning. The 28-year-old was recently called up as an option against left-handed pitching after a highly productive stint at Triple-A Syracuse, and Wednesday's production certainly helps his cause with respect to his chances of seeing consistent opportunities.

The Blue Jays are expected to select McAdoo's contract from Triple-A Buffalo on Thursday, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.

McAdoo has spent the entire season up to this point at Buffalo, slashing .250/.356/.436 with eight home runs, 27 RBI, 31 runs scored and six steals through 202 plate appearances. The 24-year-old primarily operates as a corner infielder but can also cover second base in a pinch, so he'll give Toronto infield depth while presumably serving as a bench piece. His first appearance with the Jays will mark his MLB debut.

Muncy (wrist) will start at third base and bat fifth Wednesday against the Rockies.

Muncy missed four straight starts after taking a pitch off his wrist Friday, but he entered Tuesday's contest in the ninth inning as a defensive replacement, and he's now officially been cleared to return to the starting lineup. The veteran third baseman had started eight consecutive games before getting injured and went 5-for-27 (.185) with a homer, two RBI and nine runs scored in that span.

The Dodgers placed Hernandez on the 10-day injured list Wednesday with a left oblique strain.

Hernandez doesn't have a return timeline just yet but is likely facing another extended stay on the IL, as manager Dave Roberts said Wednesday that the veteran utility man suffered a "significant tear" in his oblique. Alex Freeland was recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City in a corresponding move and is expected to start at second base more often than Hyeseong Kim while both players are with the big club.

Roberts didn't offer a timeline for Hernandez's return, but the skipper's comments suggest that the 34-year-old could be facing another multi-month stay on the injured list. Hernandez underwent elbow surgery in November and had been on the IL since the start of the season before coming back Monday. He went 4-for-4 with a homer, two doubles, two RBI and two runs scored in two games before leaving Tuesday's game early. Alex Freeland will come up from Triple-A Oklahoma City in a corresponding move, and Roberts expects him to receive the majority of starts at second base over Hyeseong Kim, per Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic.

Karros isn't in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Dodgers.

Karros' three-run homer Tuesday extended his hitting streak to three games, but he'll grab a seat on the bench to begin Wednesday's series finale. Willi Castro will start at third base as a result, opening up second for Edouard Julien.

Paredes is not in the Astros' starting lineup against the Rangers on Wednesday, Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Paredes will get a breather after going 0-for-8 over the first two games of the series against Texas. Brice Matthews and Braden Shewmake will start at second and third base, respectively, in Wednesday's game.
