Muncy was placed on the 10-day injured list Saturday with left elbow inflammation.

Muncy's left elbow is the same one in which he suffered a partially torn UCL at the tail end of last season. He wound up being ready for the start of this season despite fears he'd have to miss time, but his .150/.327/.263 slash line through 41 games casts doubt on the idea that he was ever fully healthy. His move to the injured list can be backdated to Thursday, leaving him eligible to return June 5, but the Dodgers may decide he needs more than a minimum-length absence in order to fully heal. Outfielder Kevin Pillar's contract was selected in a corresponding move, which may allow utility players Gavin Lux and Chris Taylor to feature more frequently in the infield until Muncy returns.

Moncada (leg) isn't starting Saturday against the Cubs, Vinnie Duber of AllCHGO.com reports.

Moncada has been dealing with leg soreness recently, and he'll remain out of the lineup for a second straight matchup. Jake Burger will start at the hot corner and bat eighth.

Anderson was scratched from Saturday's lineup against Atlanta due to lower back spasms, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

Anderson was slated to start in right field and bat fifth Saturday, but he's being evaluated for a lower back injury. Bryan De La Cruz will shift to right field while Willians Astudillo enters the lineup at second base. Anderson should tentatively be considered day-to-day.

Moustakas will sit Saturday against the Giants.

Saturday's starter Alex Wood is the third consecutive southpaw the Reds have faced, with Moustakas sitting in two of those three contests. Brandon Drury will start at the hot corner on this occasion.

LeMahieu (wrist) is starting Saturday against the Rays.

LeMahieu missed the last four games due to left wrist discomfort, but he'll start at third base and lead off Saturday. Over his last three games, he's gone 0-for-9.

Urias went 3-for-4 with a walk and a run scored in Friday's 12-8 win over the Red Sox.

All three of his hits were singles. Urias notched a pair of three-hit efforts in his last four games, and he continues to log regular playing time at third base. The infielder is up to a .235/.289/.353 slash line with three home runs, 11 RBI, 15 runs scored and seven doubles in 38 games this year.

Riley went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 6-4 win over the Marlins.

He connected on his 10th homer of the year in the fifth inning off Trevor Rogers. Riley has had a tough month of May for the most part, but he appears to be heating up again, hitting safely in five straight games while going 8-for-20 (.400) with a double and two long balls.

Rendon is being placed on the 10-day injured list Friday with right wrist inflammation, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.

Rendon was withheld from Friday's lineup due to the injury, and he'll now be sidelined for at least the next 10 days. The 31-year-old has apparently played through the injury throughout most of the season, but he'll now miss some time after it flared up while he was taking a swing Thursday. It's unclear exactly how long Rendon is expected to be out, though he'll be eligible to be activated June 6.

Lewis is starting in center field for Triple-A St. Paul on Friday, Aaron Gleeman of The Athletic reports.

Minnesota initially indicated Lewis would remain at shortstop after being demoted to St. Paul on May 18, but he's now also seen action at third base, left field and center field. The 22-year-old hit .308/.325/.564 with two home runs, four doubles and five RBI across his first 11 big-league games, but he was sent back to Triple-A once Carlos Correa returned from the injured list. Lewis is gearing up to rejoin the Twins in a utility role at some point, though it's unclear when exactly that may happen.

Hayes is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Padres with a lower-back injury, Jason Mackey of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Hayes went 0-for-5 with an RBI and two strikeouts Wednesday against the Rockies, and it's unclear when he picked up the injury. He should be considered day-to-day until the team updates his status. Rodolfo Castro will move to the hot corner while Diego Castillo is starting at shortstop.
