Jean Segura 3B | CLE
Diamondbacks' Jean Segura: Held out of Sunday's lineup
Segura is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Padres, according to Jody Jackson of Fox Sports Arizona.
Segura has cooled off since his hot start, going just 5-for-26 over his last seven games, so manager Chip Hale decided to give him a mental break Sunday. Brandon Drury will get the start at second base Sunday in Segura's place.

Eugenio Suarez DH | CIN
Reds' Eugenio Suarez: Tallies RBI double in Saturday victory
Suarez went 1-for-5 with an RBI double and a run scored in Saturday's 9-8 victory over the Cardinals.
The 24-year-old shortstop's sixth-inning two-bagger plated Jordan Pacheco, and was part of a four-run frame that saw the Reds break a 4-4 tie. Suarez continues knocking the cover off the ball, and has managed to hit safely in all but two games so far this season. He's tallied five multi-hit efforts as well, and leads the Reds in homers with four. He's also impressively kept his strikeouts in check, fanning only seven times in his first 43 at-bats. With multi-tool talent, Suarez looks more and more like a young cornerstone that's set to pay off handsome fantasy dividends.

DJ LeMahieu 2B | NYY
Rockies' DJ LeMahieu: Out of Saturday's lineup
LeMahieu is out of Saturday's lineup against the Cubs, MLB.com's Thomas Harding reports.
Cristhian Adames will get the start at the keystone and hit leadoff Saturday, making him an intriguing cheap option in daily leagues. It's simply a day off for LeMahieu, and he should be back in the lineup Sunday.

Ke'Bryan Hayes 3B | CIN
Pirates' Ke'Bryan Hayes: Off to fast start
Hayes, 19, is batting .393/.414/.536 with four RBI through seven games for Low-A West Virginia.
The son of former big-leaguer Charlie Hayes, Ke'Bryan has not shown much power as of yet, but the teenager still has plenty of time to fill out and develop a power stroke. Otherwise, Hayes has an extremely advanced approach at the dish, and ranks as one of the better hitting prospects in the Pirates system already.

Eugenio Suarez DH | CIN
Reds' Eugenio Suarez: Will start at shortstop Thursday
Suarez will start at shortstop for the first time this season in Thursday's game against the Cubs.
Suarez has been primarily playing third base for the Reds, but with Zack Cozart out for the second straight game, the Reds have shifted him to shortstop and Jordan Pacheco will get the start at third base. Suarez is one of the hottest players in the league right now, hitting .400/.471/.800 with four home runs, nine runs, and nine RBI through eight games.

DJ LeMahieu 2B | NYY
Rockies' DJ LeMahieu: Hitting leadoff Thursday
LeMahieu is hitting leadoff Thursday against the Giants.
Charlie Blackmon is out with a toe injury, so LeMahieu moves atop the order. A Rockies stack against righty Matt Cain makes a lot of sense in daily leagues Thursday, although it might be wiser to target the middle of the order, where lefties like Carlos Gonzalez and Gerardo Parra reside.

Jace Peterson SS | ARI
Braves' Jace Peterson: Starting in left field
Peterson is getting his first start of the year in left field and hitting eighth Thursday against the Nationals.
Typically the Braves' second baseman, Peterson got some time in left field during spring training and did some early work there prior to Thursday's game. With Hector Olivera out indefinitely following a domestic dispute, Peterson could see a handful of starts in left field going forward, allowing him to pick up outfield eligibility in certain formats.

Nolan Arenado 3B | ARI
Rockies' Nolan Arenado: Explodes for two homers, seven RBI
Arenado went 4-for-5 with two homers, a double and seven RBI in Wednesday's 10-6 win over the Giants.
The star third baseman was off to a bit of a slow start, hitting just .222 coming in, but clearly a big bust-out was on the horizon. After last season's 42-homer outburst, it seems likely Arenado will be among the majors' top few power hitters again this year.

Cody Asche 3B | NYM
Phillies' Cody Asche: To resume hitting in early May
Asche (oblique) will likely resume baseball activities in early May, Meghan Montemurro of The News Journal reports.
Asche was reevaluated in Philadelphia on Wednesday and the team's current plan of action is to have the young outfielder resume hitting in the first week of May. According to Montemurro, the team will adjust its timetable for Asche depending on how his body responds after he returns to baseball activities. Given that Asche has been on the shelf since early March due to his oblique injury, he may require a longer than normal rehab stint before being activated from the disabled list.
