Segura went 4-for-4 with a solo home run, an RBI and two runs scored Wednesday as the Phillies fell to the Mets 5-4.

Segura was perfect at the plate Wednesday as he registered his second four-hit effort of the season. His night was highlighted by a line drive solo home run that barely cleared the fence in left to extend the Phillies' lead to 4-0 in the third. Wednesday's effort ended a three-game hitless streak for Segura, raising his slash line to .268/.347/.427 with six home runs, 21 RBI and 25 runs scored in 44 games this season.

Longoria went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 9-3 win over the Mariners.

Longoria went deep in the third inning off Mariners starter Ljay Newsome. Through 41 games, Longoria has six homers, 25 RBI and 22 runs scored. He's slashing .282/.313/.463 in 160 plate appearances.

Machado went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 7-5 loss to the Dodgers.

Machado cut the Los Angeles lead to 7-4 with his solo shot off Dustin May in the eighth. The long ball marked the third baseman's 14th of the season and brought his RBI tally to 41. He will bring a strong .314/.377/.593 slash line into the weekend series against the Mariners.

Peterson went 0-for-2 with an RBI, two runs and two walks in Tuesday's blowout victory over the Cardinals.

Peterson started at second base for the second time in as many days, and while he did not record a hit, he still made a mark in the box score. Peterson has recorded just five hits in 28 at-bats this season -- good for a lowly .179 batting average -- but thanks to a quality .385 OBP and his ability to play both the infield and outfield, he found himself in the starting lineup 10 times in the Brewers' last 20 games.

Arenado (shoulder) went 1-for-3 with a run scored and a walk in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Athletics.

Arenado missed one game with the injury. His lone hit was a sixth-inning single, and he later scored on a Josh Fuentes sacrifice fly. Arenado has gone 10-for-37 (.270) with a homer, five RBI and seven runs scored in his last 10 games.

Muncy will sit Tuesday against the Padres, Eric Stephen of SBNation.com reports.

Muncy sits for just the second time all season. Cody Bellinger starts at first base, with Edwin Rios getting the nod at third.

McMahon is not in the lineup Tuesday against lefty Sean Manaea and the Athletics, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.

McMahon started against eight of the first nine southpaws the Rockies faced this season, but he's now sat against four of the last five. Garrett Hampson starts at second base, while Josh Fuentes remains the starter at first.

Arenado (shoulder) will bat cleanup and play third base Tuesday against Oakland, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.

Arenado sat Sunday due to a shoulder issue, though it was evidently a minor one, as he's now ready to go following Monday's scheduled off day. He's been disappointing at the plate this season, especially in September, hitting .237/.293/.368 in 10 games. The shoulder issue may have been part of that.

Newman is not starting Tuesday against the Reds.

Newman has started 36 of the Pirates' 47 games so far this season, though he hasn't exactly earned the playing time. He's hitting just .227/.276/.284, quite a disappointment after he hit .308/.353/.446 in 130 games last season. JT Riddle will be the second baseman in his absence.

Suarez landed on the paternity list Tuesday.

Players usually miss around three days on the paternity list, though it's possible that pandemic-related protocols could slightly delay Suarez upon his return. Aristides Aquino was recalled to take his place on the roster, while Freddy Galvis joins the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Pirates in his absence, starting at second base and pushing Mike Moustakas over to third.
