Max Muncy 3B | LAD
Dodgers' Max Muncy: Returns to lineup
Muncy (ankle) is in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Pirates, Jorge Castillo of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Muncy injured his ankle while running to first base during Friday's game against Atlanta. The injury forced him out of the lineup Saturday and Sunday, though he did get an at-bat as a pinch hitter during the series finale. Per Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register, manager Dave Roberts said Muncy's lateral mobility is still a bit hindered by the ankle issue, so he will not be an option to play second base during the series in Pittsburgh. Nonetheless, the slugger will return to the lineup Tuesday at first base.

Manny Machado 3B | SD
Padres' Manny Machado: Slugs second homer in three games
Machado went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBI in Monday's 9-4 win over the Cubs.
The 28-year-old plated his first two runs of the night on a pair of sacrifice flies before taking reliever Cory Abbott deep for a solo blast in the eighth inning. Having now left the yard twice in his last three starts, Machado is up to eight home runs on the season, good for sole possession of second place on the Padres behind standout shortstop Fernando Tatis (17).

Max Muncy 3B | LAD
Dodgers' Max Muncy: Flies out as pinch hitter
Muncy (ankle) was used as a pinch hitter in the seventh inning Sunday and flied out to right field in his only at-bat.
Muncy came on to hit for Trevor Bauer with a pair of runners on base and two outs in a two-run game but couldn't produce a clutch hit. He remains day-to-day for a return to playing the field and rejoining the starting lineup after mildly spraining his right ankle Friday. The Dodgers are off Monday, so Muncy's next chance to start will come Tuesday in Pittsburgh.

Ke'Bryan Hayes 3B | CIN
Pirates' Ke'Bryan Hayes: Collects two hits Sunday
Hayes went 2-for-4 in Sunday's 3-1 loss to the Marlins on Sunday.
He's 7-for-18 with a double, triple and homer in four games since returning from a wrist injury. Hayes missed two months with the injury and suffered a similar injury two years ago, according to Rob Biertempfel of The Athletic. Medical director Todd Tomczyk believes Hayes is past the wrist problems. "We did identify certain things that potentially could have led to the recurrent issue," Tomczyk said. "But based on that (the first injury) is two years removed and (Hayes) did have a full body of work last year, we're optimistic that this specific incur to his left wrist will not happen again."

Patrick Wisdom 3B | SEA
Cubs' Patrick Wisdom: Blasts two more home runs
Wisdom went 2-for-4 with two home runs and three RBI in Sunday's win over the Giants.
Wisdom has been on some kind of roll since getting recalled from Triple-A Iowa on May 25, as he now has seven home runs in just 13 games. To put that in perspective, the 29-year-old came into the year with just four career MLB home runs in 43 games. Wisdom will cool down at some point, but he's worth a look from fantasy managers while he's playing regularly and performing this well.

Nolan Arenado 3B | ARI
Cardinals' Nolan Arenado: Tallies four hits in loss
Arenado went 4-for-4 with a double, two RBI, a run scored and a walk in Sunday's loss to the Reds.
Arenado did what he could to prevent the Cardinals from losing and delivered a strong game at the plate, and now he's recorded seven hits over his last eight at-bats. That's a strong bounce-back effort considering he entered the weekend on a woeful 1-for-22 stretch. Despite the slump, Arenado is hitting .287 with a .855 OPS on the season.

Eugenio Suarez 3B | CIN
Reds' Eugenio Suarez: Plates two runs Sunday
Suarez went 1-for-4 with a double and two RBI in Sunday's win over the Cardinals.
Suarez has had a down season but is showing signs of a potential turnaround, as he has hit safely in four of his last five contests while racking up one double, one home run, four RBI and three runs scored in that span. That said, the third baseman is still hitting just .162 on the season and hasn't recorded a multi-hit game in 10 straight contests.

J.D. Davis 1B | LAA
Mets' J.D. Davis: Not yet swinging
Davis continues to wear a splint on his sprained left hand and hasn't been cleared to resume swinging a bat, Deesha Thosar of the New York Daily News reports.
Though he's now spent nearly five weeks on the injured list, Davis doesn't look particularly close to returning to the New York lineup. After having a minor-league rehab assignment put on pause in late May due to neck stiffness, Davis has since overcome that injury, only for the discomfort in his left hand to resurface. Until the discomfort subsides, Davis won't be able to take part in any baseball activities, making it difficult to gauge when he might ultimately return from the IL. At this point, fantasy managers should probably view late June as a best-case scenario for when he might rejoin the Mets.

Nick Senzel 3B | LAD
Reds' Nick Senzel: Club eyeing mid-July return
Reds manager David Bell said Sunday that he anticipates Senzel (knee) will return from the 10-day injured list in mid-July, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
The Reds will wrap up their first-half schedule July 11, so the team is presumably hopeful that Senzel will be ready to go after the All-Star break. Senzel is just over a week removed from undergoing arthroscopic surgery to clean out cartilage in his left knee.

Nick Maton DH | CHW
Phillies' Nick Maton: Sent down Sunday
Maton was optioned to Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Sunday, Scott Lauber of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Maton had been out of the lineup in seven of the last eight games, and he should get more consistent at-bats in the minors. During his time with the major-league club, the 24-year-old hit .252 with two home runs, 10 runs and eight RBI across 39 games.
