Lewis was removed from Tuesday's game versus the Tigers due to left groin tightness, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.

It's unclear exactly when Lewis suffered the injury, though it's possible he may have tweaked his groin running out of the batter's box during his last at-bat in the third inning. The Twins are considering him day-to-day, so there's a chance he was simply removed as a precaution given his injury history.

The Athletics recalled Harris from Triple-A Las Vegas on Tuesday.

Since being optioned to Triple-A in late May, Harris has slashed .366/.458/.659 with three homers and nine RBI in 11 games. He'll now get another chance to prove himself in the big leagues after the A's pushed Aledmys Diaz off their 40-man roster Tuesday. Harris started exclusively at third base during his previous stint with Oakland, where he'll now likely have to compete with Tyler Nevin for playing time until Abraham Toro (hamstring) returns from the IL.

Jung (wrist) has not been cleared to swing a bat, Kennedi Landry of MLB.com reports.

Jung has not swung a bat since his last rehab game on June 20 and admitted Tuesday that his surgically repaired right wrist remains sore. A specialist has confirmed that nothing is structurally wrong with the wrist, but the lingering discomfort is worrisome. There's no timetable for Jung's return.

The Astros recalled Kessinger from Triple-A Sugar Land on Tuesday, Ari Alexander of KPRC 2 in Houston reports.

Kessinger is hitless in 11 at-bats during his time with the big club this season. He will give the Astros some defensive versatility in the infield.

Clement went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's loss to the Astros.

The 28-year-old utility player wasn't even supposed to be in the starting lineup, but a late scratch for Isiah Kiner-Falefa (knee) inserted Clement at third base, and he wound up taking Josh Hader deep in the ninth inning to spoil a combined shutout bid for Houston. The long ball was his fourth of the season, setting a new career high, and he's slashing .333/.347/.563 in 49 plate appearances since the beginning of June. Should Kiner-Falefa require an IL stint, Clement could see a big uptick in playing time, although Addison Barger would also be in the mix at third base.

Clement will start at third base and bat ninth in Monday's game against the Astros.

Clement wasn't in the Blue Jays' initial lineup, but he'll get his third straight start after he was a late addition in place of Vladimir Guerrero (finger), who was scratched. Guerrero is considered day-to-day, and once he's able to rejoin the lineup, Clement will likely return to his usual bench role.

Smith started at shortstop and went 2-for-5 with an RBI in Sunday's 11-2 win over Baltimore.

Smith got the start at shortstop with Corey Seager (wrist) day-to-day. Seager was hit by a pitch during Saturday's game and, although X-rays came back negative, took a seat for the series finale against the Orioles. The Rangers are off Monday, giving Seager another 24 hours of healing, before a three-game set against the Padres. Once Seager is deemed healthy enough to return to shortstop, Smith will head back to third base, where he will continue to fill in for the injured Josh Jung (wrist), who may be back in the lineup soon, though the team is still evaluating him.

Bregman went 1-for-5 with a double and two runs scored Sunday against the Mets.

Bregman led off the fourth inning with a double and came around to score, accounting for most of his production. Though his season-long numbers remain fairly unimpressive, Bregman did have a productive June by hitting .310 with two homers, 11 RBI and 19 runs scored in 25 games.

Paredes went 3-for-4 with a home run, a triple, a double and an additional run scored Sunday against the Nationals.

Paredes entered the day with just two hits over his last 23 at-bats but broke out of it in a big way with his first three-hit game since May 21. He did all his damage off Nationals starter Patrick Corbin, going 3-for-3 against the lefty. Despite the recent slump, Paredes maintains a healthy .276/.361/.472 slash line on the season with 13 home runs, 43 RBI, 32 runs and 32 walks over 328 plate appearances.

LeMahieu went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a run scored Sunday against the Blue Jays.

LeMahieu entered the game mired in a 6-for-42 (.143) slump but collected a couple of base hits, each of which brought in a run, while also adding just his second extra-base hit of the campaign. Despite being unable to find his footing at the plate, LeMahieu, who raised his season average to .188 thanks to Sunday's effort, has maintained a regular role in the Yankees' lineup since returning from the IL in late May due to a fractured foot.
