The White Sox managed just four hits in Monday's shutout loss to Toronto. 

Third baseman Gordon Beckham went 1 for 4. Left fielder Melky Cabrera went 1 for 3. Avisail Garcia went 1 for 1, and Emilio Bonifacio went 1 for 3. 

Rangers shortstop Elvis Andrus hit his second home run of the season in Monday afternoon's 10-8 victory over the Indians. 

This is the first homer for Andrus since an April 14 game against the Angels. It was a solo shot that he hit in the eighth inning. Andrus finished the game 2 for 4 and also hit a double, which scored Josh Hamilton and Mitch Moreland in the third. 

Andrus is now hitting .236/.293/.309. 

After missing his first game of the season and his first in 88 starts, Astros second baseman Jose Altuve is back in the lineup for Monday's matinee against the Orioles, hitting second. 

Altuve has had some success against Baltimore starter Wei-Yin Chen, going 4-for-10 with two RBIs against the pitcher. 

Altuve is hitting second behind leadoff man George Springer, who will get his second consective start at the top of the lineup, the first two times all year the right fielder has hit leadoff. 

Rays second baseman Logan Forsythe drove in both of his team's runs in Sunday's loss to Oakland. 

Forsythe went 2 for 4 and reached 20 RBI on the season. He also stole two bases, giving him three for the season.

Forsythe saw his average climb to .298.

Dodgers third baseman Alex Guerrero has returned to the lineup after taking Saturday's game against the Padres off. 

Guerrero will hit sixth after Justin Turner filled in his spot a day ago. 

Outfielder Enrique Hernandez is batting seventh and catcher Austin Barnes is batting eighth. 

Astros second baseman Jose Altuve is out of the starting lineup for the first time this season, after 44 starts. 

Altuve snapped a string of 88 straight starts, dating back to last season. He's replaced by Marwin Gonzalez, who moves over from shortstop. 

Jonathan Villar replaces Gonzalez at short. 

Angels left fielder Collin Cowgill was a late scratch from Sunday's lineup. He was replaced by Matt Joyce. 

Cowgill has been bothered by a sore back and was unable to complete pregame batting practice, per MLB.com.

Also, with a lefthander facing the Angels, second baseman Johnny Giavotella is out of the lineup for just the fourth time this season.

"He's been in the air a lot the last part of this little dry spell," manager Mike Scioscia said to the Orange County Register. "His game is really line drives, hard groundballs, working counts. I don't think there's pressing. I haven't seen his demeanor change or his game change. We're looking to get our offense deeper, and he’s an important guy to lengthen our lineup."

He's replaced by Taylor Featherston.

Rangers shortstop Elvis Andrus did not get left out of a 10-run inning Saturday against the Yankees.

Andrus hit a two-run single the midst of the onslaught and later added a sacrfice fly for his first three-RBI game of the season. He also singled in the second inning as he vaulted his average to .235.

Nationals 2B Dan Uggla has been solid against left-handed pitchers this year, something his team wants him to continue on Saturday against the Phillies' Cole Hamels.

Uggla, who is hitting .273/.385/.545 in 11 at-bats against lefties this season, will get the start over Danny Espinosa.

In 62 career at-bats against Hamels, Uggla is only hitting .145/.239/.323 with three home runs, two doubles and six RBI.

Padres first baseman Yangervis Solarte was switched to the leadoff spot for Friday’s game at the Los Angeles Dodgers, reports the team's play-by-play announcer.

It is the first time this season Solarte will bat in the leadoff spot. He will go against Zack Greinke, who he is 0 for 5 against in his career. Solarte is batting .250 with two RBI in his last six games.

The Padres are the underdogs (+180) against the Dodgers on Friday.
