Hernandez started in right field and went 3-for-3 with a double, a walk, an RBI and a pair of runs scored in a win over Texas on Tuesday.

Hernandez has now started three of the Dodgers' past four contests, going a combined 7-for-12 over that stretch. Two of those starts have come at the expense of Yasiel Puig, who is currently mired in an offensive slump. The Dodgers are unlikely to give up on their enigmatic right fielder so quickly, but Hernandez could gain an extra start here and there if their recent hitting trends continue.

McNeil (quad) is starting Tuesday against the Cubs.

McNeil left Sunday's game against the Nationals with quad tightness and did not start Monday. The injury was evidently not a serious one, as he appeared off the bench Monday and will be active from the start of the game Tuesday.

Frazier will start at second base and bat second Tuesday against the Cardinals.

Not only is he batting .354 since late July, but Frazier is also the only Pirate batter with a modicum of success against Tuesday's starter, Jack Flaherty. Frazier is 3-for-5 with a double and a walk versus Flaherty. Starting second baseman Josh Harrison (hamstring) has passed through waivers and could be traded before the end of August, so more playing time could open up for Frazier in September.

Urias was officially promoted as expected Tuesday.

Urias will bat second and play second base in his major-league debut. The 21-year-old profiles as a long-term top-of-the-order bat with excellent contact ability. His initial fantasy contributions will likely be limited to the batting-average category, as he hit just eight homers and stole just two bases over the course of a full season with Triple-A El Paso. Still, the fact that he reached the majors at age 21 after hitting .296/.398/.447 as the youngest qualified hitter in the Pacific Coast League is a strong indicator of his future potential. Carlos Asuaje was optioned to El Paso in a corresponding move.

Polanco (leg) is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Indians, Phil Miller of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

Polanco is apparently still not 100 percent after exiting Sunday's game against the Athletics with some leg tightness, so he'll give way to Ehire Adrianza at shortstop for Tuesday's series opener. Consider him day-to-day.

Semien went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in a loss to the Astros on Monday.

Semien has now left the yard on four occasions over the last 16 games after a 43-game homerless stretch between June 19 and Aug. 10. The veteran shortstop's 408-foot shot off Gerrit Cole in the second inning also snapped an 0-for-12 slump that had encompassed his last three contests. Semien has now compiled the second-highest RBI total of his career (48), while his .260 average is his best outside of his initial big-league cup of coffee with the White Sox in 2013.

Rosario went 2-for-5 with an RBI, a run scored and a stolen base in Monday's 7-4 loss to the Cubs.

Rosario handed the Mets a two-run lead in the second inning on an RBI single to center field, but the Cubs would come out on top in the series opener. The 22-year-old shortstop has put together a decent month of August thus far, batting .265 with three home runs and 15 RBI through 24 games. He owns a .244/.285/.367 slash line through 124 contests this season.

Torres went 1-for-2 with a two-run home run, two walks and a stolen base Monday in the loss to the White Sox.

Torres stole his fifth bag of the season in the second inning and went deep in the fourth inning to hand his team a 2-0 lead. The rookie second baseman figures to serve as a valuable piece of the puzzle down the stretch of the regular season, as he owns a .269/.339/.495 slash line with 20 homers and 58 RBI through 93 games this season for the Yankees.

The Padres will promote Urias from Triple-A El Paso ahead of Tuesday's game against the Mariners, Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

One of the top position prospects in a deep Padres farm system, Urias will head to the majors after hitting .296/.398/.447 with eight home runs, 83 runs and 45 RBI in 120 games as the youngest qualified hitter in the Pacific Coast League. He's expected to fill a full-time role in the middle infield for the Padres over the final month of the season, mixing in at both second base and shortstop. The 21-year-old may slot near the bottom of the order initially, but he profiles as a top-of-the-lineup candidate in the long term.

Drury (hand) will receive a follow-up CT scan when the Blue Jays return to Toronto at the beginning of September, Mike Wilner of Sportsnet 590 The Fan reports.

Drury received follow-up imaging on his fractured hand over the weekend, and doctors were apparently pleased with his progress. He's expected to stick in a removable splint until he's reevaluated sometime next week.
