  • Ryan O'Hearn 1B | PIT

Orioles' Ryan O'Hearn: Homer, steal in win

O'Hearn went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer and a stolen base in Wednesday's 6-3 win over the Yankees.

After picking up his first MLB stolen base, O'Hearn gave the Orioles some breathing room in the top of the ninth inning with a two-run shot off Ian Hamilton, extending the lead to 6-3. The 29-year-old O'Hearn has hits in his last three games following an 0-for-16 stretch over his previous six contests. Overall, he's slashing a strong .294/.343/.524 with seven homers, 24 RBI, and 19 runs scored across 137 plate appearances this season. Despite his solid year, O'Hearn could soon lose playing time with Ryan Mountcastle (illness) nearing a return.

  • Ty France 1B | SD

Mariners' Ty France: Held out again Wednesday

France (undisclosed) remains out of the lineup for Wednesday's game in San Francisco, Shannon Drayer of Seattle Sports 710 AM reports.

France has now missed three straight starts after being involved in a collision with the Rays' Isaac Paredes on Sunday, although the team's official site reports he did take batting practice prior to the game. The Mariners have not divulged what exact injury he's dealing with, but clearly he's still sore. Mike Ford will get another start at first base.

  • Rowdy Tellez 1B | ATL

Brewers' Rowdy Tellez: Goes on IL with forearm issue

Milwaukee placed Tellez on the 10-day injured list Wednesday with right forearm inflammation.

This diagnosis might help to explain some of Tellez's recent struggles, as he has slashed just .136/.184/.173 over his last 87 plate appearances and hasn't homered since May 22. He'll be first eligible to return the Saturday after the All-Star break.

  • Josh Naylor 1B | SEA

Guardians' Josh Naylor: Out again Wednesday

Naylor (wrist) remains out of the lineup Wednesday against Atlanta.

It's the second straight absence for Naylor, who injured his right wrist in Monday's series opener. He was scheduled to undergo imaging tests Tuesday, the results of which have yet to be made available. David Fry is covering first base for Cleveland on Wednesday and Josh Bell will serve as the designated hitter.

  • Triston Casas 1B | BOS

Red Sox's Triston Casas: Sitting against right-hander

Casas is absent from the lineup for Wednesday's game versus the Rangers.

It's notable because the Red Sox are facing a righty in Jon Gray. While Casas had a nice June overall, he has just two hits in his last 14 at-bats. Justin Turner will play first base Wednesday.

  • Bobby Dalbec 1B | CHW

Red Sox's Bobby Dalbec: Hurts wrist, not playing

Dalbec was injured after being hit by a pitch in the area of his left hand/wrist last Thursday while playing for Triple-A Worcester, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports.

Dalbec was hit by the pitch in the first game of Thursday's doubleheader, then homered in the second game before the area began to swell. He has missed the five games since. WooSox manager Chad Tracy provided an update Tuesday to Katie Morrison-O'Day of MassLive.com, saying X-rays came back clean and the team is waiting on CT scan results. The manager is hopeful Dalbec will return this week.

  • Diamondbacks' Christian Walker: Homers, drives in two in loss

Walker went 1-for-4 with a walk, a home run and two RBI in Tuesday's 8-5 loss to the Mets.

Walker whacked the first of back-to-back homers in the fourth inning off Max Scherzer, then walked with the bases loaded in the ninth. The homer snapped an 0-for-16 run for the first baseman. Walker is up to 17 home runs and a team-high 56 RBI.

  • Donovan Solano 1B | TEX

Twins' Donovan Solano: Three extra-bases hits in win

Solano went 3-for-4 with two doubles, a solo home run and two additional runs scored in Tuesday's 9-3 win over the Royals.

He went back-to-back with Byron Buxton in the fifth inning off Zack Greinke, giving Solano his fourth homer of the year -- all of which have come since June 11. The 35-year-old isn't quite an everyday player for the Twins, but he's found his way into the lineup more often than not, and since the beginning of June he's slashing .280/.404/.500 with 11 RBI and 12 runs in 29 games.

  • Padres' Jake Cronenworth: Two doubles, homer in win

Cronenworth went 3-for-4 with two doubles, a home run and three RBI during Tuesday's 8-5 win against the Angels.

The 29-year-old found plenty of success versus Shohei Ohtani, including his eighth home run of the season. Cronenworth struggled to a .557 OPS in June, but he's gone 8-for-20 with three doubles, a home run, seven RBI and three runs over his past six games.

  • Blue Jays' Vladimir Guerrero: Clubs go-ahead homer

Guerrero went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and an additional run scored in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the White Sox.

Guerrero restored the Blue Jays' lead with an eighth-inning blast for the final runs of the game. He's gone 11-for-37 (.297) with four homers and 12 RBI over his last 10 games. The first baseman has just 13 homers and a .455 slugging percentage in what's been a down power year, but he's batting a steady .277 with 54 RBI, 39 runs scored, four stolen bases and 18 doubles through 83 contests. Guerrero's recent play suggests his power may be coming around again.
