Singleton went 3-for-4 with a solo home run Sunday against the Mets.

Singleton took Mets starter Luis Severino deep in the second inning for his sixth homer of the season and first in over a month. The first baseman later added two more hits, giving him his first three-hit game of the season. Through 59 games, Singleton has accumulated 205 plate appearances, totaling six home runs, three doubles, 18 RBI, 23 runs and a 26:53 BB:K.

Mountcastle was unavailable for Sunday's 11-2 loss to the Rangers due to an illness, Matt Weyrich of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Mountcastle's absence from the lineup was a surprising one Sunday considering his impressive .306/.359/.494 slash line against left-handed pitchers this season, but manager Brandon Hyde clarified after the contest that Mountcastle was feeling under the weather. With Baltimore off Monday, there's a good chance that Mountcastle will be ready to go for the team's series opener in Seattle on Tuesday.

Vaughn went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a walk and two additional RBI in Sunday's 5-4 loss to the Rockies.

Vaughn tied the game in the seventh inning with an RBI walk before knotting the game up in the 10th inning with a sacrifice fly. The 26-year-old quietly had an impressive month of June, batting .337 with six home runs, 20 RBI and 17 runs scored in 25 games played.

The Brewers optioned Black to Triple-A Nashville following Sunday's 7-1 win over the Cubs, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

The 23-year-old was called up by Milwaukee on June 19 but totaled just 12 at-bats before being sent back to Triple-A. Black is one of the organization's top prospects but doesn't have a clear path to playing time in the big leagues given who the Brewers currently have available, so he'll go back to the minors to get more consistent playing time.

Guerrero had X-rays on his right hand come back negative after being hit by a pitch during Sunday's 8-1 loss to the Yankees, Hazel Mae of Sportsnet reports.

The 25-year-old remained in the contest after being hit by the pitch during the third inning, but he was eventually pulled for a pinch hitter. He finished the day 1-for-2 with a base hit. Guerrero appears to have avoided a serious injury and should be considered day-to-day heading into Monday's series opener against Houston.

Mountcastle is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rangers, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

The 27-year-old's omission from the lineup is surprising since southpaw Andrew Heaney is taking the mound for Texas. Mountcastle has an .853 OPS versus lefties this season and was also held out of the lineup for Saturday's contest, so it's possible he's dealing with an injury or illness, though nothing has been reported at this point. The lefty-hitting Ryan O'Hearn will instead start at first base Sunday.

Tellez went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 4-2 win against Atlanta.

Tellez continued his hot month of June, as he now has three of his four homers and 14 of his 22 RBI for the season over his last 19 games. He had a .940 OPS in June after entering the month with a .463 OPS for the season. The 29-year-old is turning the corner and has elevated his slash line to .230/.286/.332 for the campaign.

Wade is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Dodgers.

The platoon-happy Giants will hold out Wade and fellow lefty-hitting regulars Michael Conforto and Brett Wisely while the Dodgers send a southpaw (James Paxton) to the hill. David Villar will check in at first base in place of Wade, who went 2-for-9 with a double, a walk and a run scored in the first two games of the series following his return from a month-long stay on the injured list due to a hamstring strain.

Davis was scratched from Sunday's lineup against the Blue Jays.

The 31-year-old probably is perfectly healthy, but Juan Soto's (hand) late addition to the starting nine will bump Davis from the lineup. He's gone 1-for-9 with a double, two walks, an RBI and a run in three games since being acquired by the Yankees last weekend.

The Rockies designated Montero for assignment Sunday.

After popping 11 home runs in 307 plate appearances with the Rockies in 2023 and securing an everyday role coming out of camp this spring, Montero looked to be an attractive late-round target in drafts. Unfortunately for his fantasy managers, Montero quickly fell out of favor, and he didn't show any signs of improvements after regaining playing time once injuries began to pile up for the Rockies. Even with Kris Bryant (oblique) still stuck on the 10-day injured list, the Rockies didn't have room for Montero as a backup option at first base or designated hitter with the team needing to clear a spot for catcher Elias Diaz's (calf) return from the IL. The 25-year-old Montero, who had posted a .474 OPS in June and a .205/.267/.304 slash line over 247 plate appearances on the season, has no minor-league options remaining, so he would need to be carried on the 26-man active roster if another team trades for him or claims him off waivers.
