Guerrero left the second game of Double-A New Hampshire doubleheader Saturday in the seventh inning after stepping on first base awkwardly, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Fortunately, the team doesn't consider the injury to be a major concern, but the Blue Jays understandably wanted to play it safe with the prized prospect, who went 2-for-7 in the twin bill prior to exiting the contest in the final frame. Consider Guerrero day-to-day until the Blue Jays update his status.

The Angels placed Calhoun on the 10-day disabled list Saturday with a right oblique strain.

The injury seemingly comes out of nowhere for the struggling Calhoun, although he did sit out Friday against right-hander Bartolo Colon. The 30-year-old had a dismal May in which he went 8-for-74 with one RBI and one extra-base hit, bringing his season slash line to .108/.193/.122. Calhoun is eligible to return for the June 12 matchup with the Mariners, but at this point it's unclear how long he is expected to be on the shelf.

Freeman tweaked his left wrist on a strikeout in the first inning Saturday against the Nationals but remained in the game, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.

Bowman notes that the wrist was clearly bothering Freeman, as he was flexing it a few times at the start of the second inning, but it's apparently not a serious enough injury to force him out of the game. Nothing may come of this, but it's worth noting moving forward in case he is kept out of Sunday's lineup.

Olson went 3-for-4 with a walk, two home runs, three runs scored and five RBI in Friday's 16-0 rout of the Royals.

He took Ian Kennedy deep in the second and third innings, giving Olson 11 homers on the year and three in the last two games. The five RBI were also a career high for the 24-year-old, but despite his current form he still carries a .246/.330/.464 slash line through 58 games, a step backwards across the board from his explosive 2017 debut.

Abreu went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored in Friday's 8-3 win over the Brewers.

The two-bagger was Abreu's 20th of the season, putting him well on pace to top last season's career-high 43. The 31-year-old remains the rock-solid foundation for a young and sometimes shaky White Sox offense, slashing .301/.362/.526 on the year.

Hoskins (jaw) hopes to return from the disabled list after the minimum 10 days, Matt Breen of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Hoskins is scheduled for a follow-up appointment next week, but he believes he'll be healthy enough to come off the disabled list by June 8 against Milwaukee. His exact return date figures to become clearer after his next evaluation.

The Phillies promoted Hall to Double-A Reading on Friday, Jim Salisbury of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.

Hall received a promotion to High-A Clearwater late last season and slashed .271/.351/.538 with 13 home runs in 199 at-bats for the Threshers. The 22-year-old could make a name for himself as a prospect if he can put up similar numbers for Reading.

Voit laced a two-run single in a pinch-hit at-bat during Thursday's win over the Pirates.

The burly infielder made his first official big-league at-bat of 2018 count, driving in Harrison Bader and Tommy Pham in the ninth to chop two runs off a three-run deficit. Voit had just been called up earlier in the day from Triple-A Memphis, where he'd slashed .237/.348/.339 across 138 plate appearances.

Olson went 1-for-4 a solo home run in a win over the Rays on Thursday.

Olson launched the first of two round trippers off Ryan Yarbrough in the seventh, blasting a mammoth 475-foot shot to right. The 24-year-old appears to be picking up the pace in terms of his power hitting, as he more than doubled up his homer total from April's two by smacking six during May. A boost in flyball rate from 36.8 percent to 45.5 percent appears to have played a significant part, a trend that Olson will look to continue as the calendar flips to June.

Hiura was promoted to Double-A Biloxi on Thursday, Tyler Maun of MiLB.com reports.

Hiura received the news of his promotion following his 4-for-5, two homer explosion Thursday with High-A Carolina. The 21-year-old slashed .316/.377/.524 with seven home runs over 206 at-bats with Carolina this season. He's a must-own asset in dynasty formats.
