Cron is not starting Monday against the Angels.

Still, he could be a late bloomer at age 24 and get a chance at reserve outfielder role in the majors this season if healthy.

Tellez is not starting Monday against Boston.

Tellez is hitting .273 in the month of May but has just four extra-base hits and three walks, giving him a .692 OPS. Justin Smoak starts at first base Monday, with Danny Jansen serving as the designated hitter.

Guerrero is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Red Sox.

With Cronenworth already knocking the cover off the ball at the level closest to the majors, the Rays want to see if the 2015 seventh-round pick's vast physical skills and college pitching experience help him turn into a viable component of their organizational pitching arsenal. Manager Kevin Cash stated Sunday that the 25-year-old has been prepping for his new endeavor by throwing live batting practices and bullpen sessions the past several weeks. Cash added that Cronenworth's fastball consistently registered in the mid-90s mph on the radar gun during his one frame Saturday, lending some credence to the notion he could contribute as a legitimate two-way threat moving forward.

Guerrero went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in a victory over the White Sox on Sunday.

Guerrero's blast came in the top of the eighth inning to break a 1-1 tie. After struggling mightily to begin his major-league career, the 20-year-old phenom has picked it up over his last eight games, hitting .370 (10-for-27) and knocking four homers over that span. It didn't take him long to figure out major-league pitching.

Flores was diagnosed with a right foot contusion after exiting Sunday's game early.

Flores was hit on the foot by a Drew Pomeranz offering in the second inning and left the game as a result. The severity of the injury is unclear, though if he were to miss time, Jarrod Dyson would be the likely beneficiary with Ketel Marte taking over second-base duties.

Freeman went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's extra-inning loss to Milwaukee.

Freeman's seventh-inning blast off Brandon Woodruff traveled 418 feet to deep center field and temporarily tied the game. The three-time All-Star has been red-hot of late, homering in each of his last four games and batting .444 (8-for-19) over that stretch. For the season, he is slashing an impressive .318/.408/.581 with 11 home runs and 29 RBI.
