Calhoun went 1-for-3 with a walk, a home run, two RBI and a second run scored in Tuesday's 10-9 loss to the Dodgers.

Calhoun's third-inning homer was his ninth on the season, but his first blast in 12 games. He had a stretch of consistent run production during a three-week span in August but has cooled since. Over the last 11 games leading up to Tuesday, Calhoun batted just .114 (4-for-35) with a .622 OPS and one RBI.

Cooper went 2-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in a victory versus Atlanta on Tuesday.

Cooper enjoyed a big night at the plate in the win, drilling a two-run homer in the fourth inning and singling in a run in the seventh. The 29-year-old entered the game having gone 0-for-9 over his previous three contests. He is slashing .261/.292/.543 overall this season.

Bohm went 3-for-4 with four RBI during a 6-5 win over the Red Sox in the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader.

The rookie came through in the clutch, bringing home J.T. Realmuto and Didi Gregorius with a walkoff single in the seventh inning. Bohm continues to impress in his first crack at big-league pitching; even after an 0-for-2 effort in the nightcap, he's slashing .291/.344/.419 through 24 games with two homers and 15 RBI.

Dalbec homered in both ends of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Phillies, going a combined 3-for-6 with a walk and four RBI.

The rookie feasted on the Phillies' setup crew, taking Tommy Hunter deep for a solo shot in the sixth inning of the matinee before launching a two-run shot off David Phelps in the same frame during the nightcap. The latter blast proved to be the game-winner, giving the Red Sox a split in the twin bill. Dalbec has now gone yard in four straight games, the longest homer streak by a rookie in franchise history, and he has five blasts in his first nine MLB games.

Mountcastle went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run Tuesday against the Mets.

Mountcastle smacked his fourth home run of the season, taking Michael Wacha deep in the fourth frame. He's recorded at least one RBI in five of his last six contests and is regularly hitting in the middle of the Orioles' lineup. Mountcastle has had a successful start to his major-league career, racking up a .339/.397/.607 line across 63 plate appearances.

Tellez will undergo an MRI on his right knee Wednesday, Arden Zwelling of Sportsnet.ca reports.

The 25-year-old began experiencing knee discomfort after stepping on a soft spot around the on-field bullpen, and the MRI will reveal the specifics of the injury. Tellez won't have a return timeline until the MRI results come back, but it wouldn't be surprising to see him receive Wednesday off regardless of the diagnosis.

Cronenworth is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Rockies.

Cronenworth has emerged as an everyday player for the Padres, as he sits for the first time since Aug. 13. With a .325/.378/.561 season slash line, it's easy to see why he keeps getting opportunities. Greg Garcia will make a rare start at second base in his absence.

Smith will hit the bench Tuesday against lefty John Means and the Orioles.

Thanks to his excellent .322/.390/.636 season slash line, Smith is emerging as a near-everyday player for the Mets, starting against six of the last seven lefties the team had faced prior to Tuesday's contest. Pete Alonso will be the first baseman Tuesday, with Jeff McNeil starting in left field.

Cabrera (back) returns to the lineup Tuesday against the Rays, batting sixth and playing first base.

Cabrera sat out Monday's game with a sore back but is ready to go just one day later. The veteran has failed to impress at the plate this season, hitting just .223/.293/.396.

France went 1-for-4 with a two-run single in a win over the Rangers on Monday.

The trade-deadline acquisition from the Padres came through yet again, delivering the third and fourth RBI of his four-game tenure with the Mariners. France's strong start, which doesn't yet include any extra-base hits but does feature three walks and two runs, supports the notion he should continue to enjoy an everyday role for the balance of the season.
