Dominic Smith 1B | ATL
Mets' Dominic Smith: Goes yard again
Smith went 1-for-4 with a walk and a solo home run in Tuesday's loss to the Phillies.
After going 15 games without a homer, Smith has now gone deep in back-to-back starts. The 24-year-old is slashing .321/.419/.566 on the year with six home runs and 12 RBI in 124 plate appearances, numbers which should encourage manager Mickey Callaway to continue trying to find ways to get him into the lineup more frequently.

Joey Votto 1B | TOR
Reds' Joey Votto: Slugs solo home run
Votto went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in a loss to the Angels on Tuesday.
Votto plated the first and only run of the game for the Reds in the first inning, drilling a 410-foot home run to center field. It was his second homer in as many games and fourth overall in June, matching his total in April and May combined. The 2010 NL MVP is having a down year by his standards as his slash line now sits at .261/.358/.418 in 261 at-bats.

Dominic Smith 1B | ATL
Mets' Dominic Smith: Slugs fifth homer
Smith went 2-for-5 with a double, a solo home run and a second run scored in Monday's loss to the Phillies.
The homer was his fifth of the year and first since June 6, with Smith slashing a tepid .200/.314/.300 in 35 plate appearances between the long balls. Playing time remains inconsistent for the 24-year-old even with occasional starts in left field, a situation that isn't likely to change with Pete Alonso entrenched at first base.

Christian Walker 1B | HOU
Diamondbacks' Christian Walker: Hits 14th homer
Walker went 2-for-3 with a three-run home run, a pair of runs and a walk in the Diamondbacks' 8-5 win over the Dodgers on Monday.
Walker had cooled down after a torrid start to the season, but he's been heating back up lately, as he's now hit safely in nine straight, recording four multi-hit efforts over that span. He provided a big early blow in this contest, cranking a three-run first-inning long ball off Clayton Kershaw. The hot streak has boosted Walker's slash line up to .269/.342/.502 to go along with 14 homers and 34 RBI through 271 at-bats.

Keston Hiura 2B | LAD
Brewers' Keston Hiura: Adds two more homers
Hiura homered in his last two games with Triple-A San Antonio and is now hitting .323/.404/.677 -- good for a 1.081 OPS -- over 54 minor-league games this season.
Hiura put up huge numbers with San Antonio before an impressive three-week stint with the Brewers from mid-May to early June, and he has continued to mash since being sent back down earlier this month. It's not clear when he will be called back up, but when he does, he figures to be an impact bat for the big club like he was last time around.

Pete Alonso 1B | BAL
Mets' Pete Alonso: New Mets rookie HR champ
Alonso went 1-for-2 with two walks and a solo home run in Sunday's loss to the Cubs.
The 24-year-old has now gone yard eight times through 21 games in June while slashing a stunning .311/.440/.716. Alonso's 27 homers on the year have already set a new Mets record for a first-year player, surpassing the mark set by Darryl Strawberry in 1983.

Garrett Cooper 1B | ATL
Marlins' Garrett Cooper: Posts three hits
Cooper went 3-for-5 with a solo homer in a 6-4 victory against the Phillies on Sunday.
The 28-year-old is now batting more than .400 with four homers this month. Cooper has a hit in each of the last 13 games in which he has recorded an at-bat. He also has six multi-hit contests in June. Cooper is batting .324 with seven homers, 22 RBI and 28 runs in 139 at-bats this season.

Freddie Freeman 1B | LAD
Braves' Freddie Freeman: Drives in five against Nats
Freeman went 2-for-3 with two walks, a double, a run scored and five RBI in Saturday's 13-9 win over the Nationals.
His bases-loaded double in the seventh inning tied the score at 8-8 and followed on the heels of a two-run single in the fifth. Freeman has now collected an RBI in 10 straight games, tying the franchise record set by Sid Gordon in 1951, when the team still played in Boston. Freeman's .390/.479/.732 slash line over that stretch is pretty impressive too.
-
Matt Beaty 1B | KC
Dodgers' Matt Beaty: Three more hits in win
Beaty went 3-for-5 with a double and two RBI in Saturday's 5-4 extra-innings win over the Rockies.
While he ceded walkoff honors to Alex Verdugo in this one, Beaty still put together his second consecutive impressive performance. The rookie is slashing .391/.440/.783 with two homers and six RBI in eight games since he was activated from the injured list.

Pete Alonso 1B | BAL
Mets' Pete Alonso: Crushes 26th home run
Alonso went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a double, two runs scored and a walk in Saturday's 10-2 win over the Cubs.
Alonso started the scoring with his 419-foot blast to center field in the first inning and also came around to score after doubling in the sixth. The 24-year-old went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts Friday but returned to form Saturday with another multi-hit performance. Alonso has a .993 OPS and 26 home runs over 76 games in his rookie year.
