  • Matt Olson 1B | ATL

Braves' Matt Olson: Continues to pile up RBI in June

Olson went 2-for-4 with three RBI, a double, a run scored and a walk in Tuesday's 7-4 win over the Mets.

Olson extended his on-base streak to 25 games in his big night at the plate, during which he racked up three RBI for the fourth time in June. Over his last 112 plate appearances, the star first baseman is slashing .304/.420/.522 with three home runs, 11 doubles and 23 RBI. Olson has also tallied at least one hit in 13 of his last 15 outings.

Phillies' Bryce Harper: Going through pre-game routine

Harper (wrist) will go through his usual pre-game routine prior to Tuesday's game against the Astros, though he isn't expected to be activated from the 10-day injured list before the end of the series, Corey Seidman of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.

The routine includes about 50 swings, fielding grounders and going through a throwing program, and if all goes well, he could take batting practice Wednesday. Harper continues to progress in his recovery from right wrist inflammation, and he appears to be lining up to rejoin the Phillies this weekend or next week, per Matt Gelb of The Athletic, though there's officially no timeline for his return.

  • Giants' Bryce Eldridge: Sidelined with hamstring issue

Eldridge has a right hamstring strain and will miss 3-to-4 weeks, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Eldridge suffered the injury while running the bases over the weekend with Triple-A Sacramento. The first baseman has posted a .230 average with three home runs, 13 RBI and five runs scored over 61 at-bats in 16 games with Sacramento since being promoted June 3. Eldridge was already uncertain to make a major impact with the Giants in 2025, and the injury shrinks his chances even more.

  • Josh Naylor 1B | SEA

Diamondbacks' Josh Naylor: Scratched from lineup

Naylor (shoulder) was scratched from the Diamondbacks' lineup for Tuesday's game against the White Sox.

Naylor had initially been expected to start one day after exiting Monday's contest when he tweaked his right shoulder on a swing. It does not seem as though he's suffered a setback, but rather the Diamondbacks just want to play it safe and give him a little more rest. Pavin Smith will play first base Tuesday, and Randal Grichuk will enter the lineup at designated hitter.

Diamondbacks' Josh Naylor: In Tuesday's lineup

Naylor (shoulder) will be in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the White Sox, John Gambadoro of Arizona Sports 98.7 FM reports.

Naylor had to be removed from Monday's contest in Chicago after tweaking his right shoulder on a swing. However, he has avoided a serious injury and will be back in there a day later. Naylor has collected an .824 OPS with nine home runs over 75 games for the Diamondbacks this season.

Diamondbacks' Josh Naylor: May play Tuesday

Arizona manager Torey Lovullo said Naylor (shoulder) is expected to return to the lineup Tuesday against the White Sox, Casey Drottar of MLB.com reports

Naylor went 1-for-3 with a double and two RBI before being removed from Monday's 10-0 win in the fourth inning after injuring his right shoulder on a swing in the second inning. Should Naylor be unavailable Tuesday, Pavin Smith would likely fill in at first base against Chicago right-hander Jordan Leasure.

  • Matt Gorski 1B | LAD

Pirates' Matt Gorski: Injured at Triple-A

Triple-A Indianapolis transferred Gorski from its 7-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Friday while he recovers from an undisclosed injury.

Gorski hasn't played for Indianapolis since May 23, so his move to the 60-day IL ensures that he'll remain on the shelf through the All-Star break. Before getting shut down at Indianapolis, Gorski got the chance to make his big-league debut with the Pirates earlier this season. The 27-year-old slashed .195/.214/.390 with two home runs in 42 plate appearances for Pittsburgh before he was optioned to Triple-A on May 17.

Diamondbacks' Josh Naylor: Nursing shoulder injury

Naylor was removed from Monday's game against the White Sox due to right shoulder discomfort.

Naylor will presumably be re-evaluated Tuesday as the Diamondbacks determine his status for the second game of the series. Pavin Smith, Tim Tawa or Ildemaro Vargas could see time at first base if Naylor is forced to miss additional action.

Diamondbacks' Josh Naylor: Exits early Monday

Naylor was removed from Monday's game against the White Sox due to an apparent shoulder injury, Casey Drottar of MLB.com reports.

Naylor appeared to grab at his right shoulder following an awkward swing during his at-bat in the top of the second inning, per Drottar, though he managed to remain in the game until the bottom of the fourth. Tim Tawa took over for Naylor at first base. The 28-year-old is presumably headed to the clubhouse for further evaluation.

  • Michael Busch 3B | CHC

Cubs' Michael Busch: Resting against lefty

Busch is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the Cardinals.

St. Louis is starting lefty Matthew Liberatore, so Busch will head to the bench while Justin Turner starts at first base in his stead. Busch has been good this season with an .869 OPS, 12 home runs and 44 RBI through 72 games, but he's gone just 4-for-33 with 10 strikeouts against southpaws, so he will likely continue to be a platoon player who plays primarily against righties.
