Tellez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's win over the Reds.

His long ball went the opposite way to left-center field, and it was against a left-handed reliever in Phillip Diehl. Tellez struck out in his other three plate appearances Tuesday, but strikeouts have not been a problem for Tellez early on. In fact, this was just his fourth multi-strikeout game of the season.

Walker went 2-for-5 with a home run, a double and three RBI during Tuesday's 5-4 win against the Marlins.

Walker was 2-for-23 over his past seven contests but delivered his first multi-hit game of the season in Tuesday's victory. It's also only the second time this year he's driven in multiple runs, and he still has a lot of work to do in order to bring up his .163/.250/.419 slash line. However, the 31-year-old hasn't lacked for power as he's tied for ninth in MLB with six home runs.

Padlo was recalled from Triple-A Sacramento and is starting at third base Tuesday against the Dodgers, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Padlo was acquired by the Giants from the Mariners last week, and he'll debut for his new team Tuesday. The 25-year-old appeared in four games at Triple-A since being acquired by San Francisco and went 7-for-18 with four home runs, nine RBI, eight runs and a stolen base. He should be in the infield rotation for at least the immediate future with Brandon Belt (illness), Tommy La Stella (Achilles) and Evan Longoria (finger) on the injured list.

Olson went 1-for-2 with two walks and a three-run home run in a 5-4 loss to the Mets during the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader.

The first baseman took David Peterson deep in the fifth inning to get Atlanta within a run, but the offense went cold the rest of the way. Olson snapped a 14-game homer drought with the blast, but on the season he still carries a solid .286/.400/.484 slash line with three home runs and 10 RBI through 25 contests.

Wade (knee) will make another rehab appearance for Triple-A Sacramento on Tuesday, Andrew Baggarly of The Athletic reports.

Reports from over the weekend indicated that Wade could return to action Tuesday, but he'll evidently need at least one more game before he's cleared for his season debut. He certainly looks ready judging by his performance, as he owns a 1.238 OPS through five rehab games, so his rehab assignment likely won't stretch on for too much longer.

Rivas will start at first base and bat leadoff in Tuesday's game against the White Sox.

Rivas will be making his second straight start out of the leadoff spot after going 1-for-3 with a walk and a run scored in Sunday's 2-0 win over the Brewers. He'll also be making his fourth start in the past five games, signaling that he's moved into a near-everyday role at first base. Frank Schwindel has seen more opportunities at designated hitter as a result, making Rafael Ortega the primary loser with Rivas' role increasing.

Votto was placed on the COVID-19 injured list Tuesday, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

The length of Votto's expected absence is not yet clear, as the Reds have yet to announce if he's tested positive for the virus himself or is on the injured list for other reasons. The team will hope that his time out of the lineup will allow him to step back and rediscover his old form, as he's hit a miserable .122/.278/.135 through 22 games this season. Colin Moran starts at first base in Votto's absence Tuesday against the Brewers and should see an expanded role until Votto returns.

Bohm will bat second and play third base Tuesday against Texas.

Bohm had primarily hit seventh throughout the early part of the season and had never hit higher than fifth, a spot he occupied just once. His move to the second spot in the order seems justified based on his strong performance thus far this season, however, as he's rebounded from a poor 2021 campaign to hit .309/.373/.455 through 21 games. He's cut his strikeout rate to a career-best 14.9 percent while posting a 10.2 percent barrel rate.

Voit (biceps) will begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A El Paso on Tuesday.

Voit has been on the shelf for just over a week with the biceps tendon injury, so he may only need a game or two in the minors to prove his health. If Voit checks out fine during his time at El Paso, he could rejoin the Padres for the team's four-game weekend series against the Marlins. He'll likely reclaim duties as San Diego's primary designated hitter upon returning from the IL.

Smith will sit for the first half of Tuesday's doubleheader against Atlanta.

Smith survived the roster cutdown Monday, as he remained on the active roster while Robinson Cano was designated for assignment. While that should give him a safer path to regular starts, he won't start every game, especially not both halves of a doubleheader. Francisco Lindor will rest his legs as the designated hitter in this game, but Smith should return to the lineup for the nightcap.
