  • Cardinals' Paul Goldschmidt: Scores twice in win

Goldschmidt went 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored in Saturday's victory over the Phillies.

Goldschmidt scored in the first inning thanks to a Nolan Arenado home run, then again on a Lars Nootbaar walk with the bases loaded in the fifth. The first baseman continued his spectacular season with back-to-back two hit performances. He has at least one hit in six of his last seven games, including four multi-hit performances, and is now slashing .346/.428/.633 on the season.

  • LaMonte Wade 1B | CHW

Giants' LaMonte Wade: Lifts early homer

Wade went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 5-3 loss to the White Sox.

Wade has gone 2-for-12 in three games since he returned from a knee injury. The outfielder took the second pitch from Dylan Cease and put it over the fence, though the Giants didn't strike again until the eighth inning. Wade should play regularly against right-handed pitchers while serving primarily as an option in the corner outfield positions. He's batting .216/.318/.378 with two homers, six RBI and five runs scored through 13 games in what's so far been an injury-riddled campaign.

  • Diamondbacks' Christian Walker: Slugs pair of homers

Walker went 2-for-3 with a pair of solo home runs, a walk and three total runs scored in Saturday's 11-7 loss to the Rockies.

Walker went six games without a homer entering Saturday, his third-longest power drought of the year. He went deep in the second inning and then added another long ball in the sixth, giving him 21 on the year. The slugger continues to hover around the Mendoza Line -- he's batting .206 -- but he's added a .799 OPS in 311 plate appearances. He sits at 44 RBI, 43 runs scored, 10 doubles and a triple through 76 contests.

  • Luke Voit 1B | NYM

Padres' Luke Voit: Clubs 10th homer

Voit went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a double in Saturday's 7-2 loss to the Dodgers.

Voit was one of four Padres to log multiple hits, and both of his went for extra bases. He smacked a double in the second inning and added a solo shot in the eighth. The 31-year-old had a bit of a power binge in June with six homers, and it only took him two contests into July to snap a 10-game drought without a long ball. He's up to a .232/.319/.432 slash line with 10 homers, 34 RBI, 29 runs scored, a stolen base and 14 doubles through 60 contests this year.

  • Dodgers' Freddie Freeman: Hammers 10th homer

Freeman went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and two total runs scored in Saturday's 7-2 win over the Padres.

Freeman made a quick impact with the first of three first-inning homers for the Dodgers. That was ultimately all they needed in the win, though the first baseman walked and scored on a sacrifice fly in the seventh. He's been scorching lately, hitting safely in 15 of his last 16 games with eight multi-hit efforts in that span. For the season, Freeman owns a .307/.391/.502 slash line with 10 homers, 49 RBI, 52 runs scored, seven stolen bases, 25 doubles and two triples in 77 contests.

  • Darick Hall 1B | PIT

Phillies' Darick Hall: Not starting Saturday

Hall isn't starting Saturday's game against the Cardinals.

Hall has been on a tear over the last three games, as he's gone 3-for-13 with three homers, four RBI and three strikeouts. However, he'll get a breather while Kyle Schwarber serves as the designated hitter with Matt Vierling starting in left field.

  • Keston Hiura 2B | LAD

Brewers' Keston Hiura: Crushes seventh homer

Hiura went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and two runs in Friday's victory over the Pirates.

Something about Pirates pitching particularly appeals to Hiura, who has hit 43 home runs in his career and 12 against Pittsburgh. Hiura has filled a part-time role all season and started just seven times over the Brewers' last 23 games, but he has gotten the job done when called upon, posting a .756 OPS over 124 plate appearances.

  • Garrett Cooper 1B | ATL

Marlins' Garrett Cooper: Three hits in win

Cooper went 3-for-5 with two doubles and an RBI in Friday's 6-3 win over the Nationals.

The 31-year-old has hit safely in 14 of his last 15 games, slashing .339/.375/.458 over that stretch with four doubles, a homer, three runs and nine RBI. Cooper has no speed and only modest power, but his ability to make consistent contact and get on base gives him value in most fantasy formats.

  • Rowdy Tellez 1B | ATL

Brewers' Rowdy Tellez: Drives in five runs

Tellez went 2-for-5 with a home run, a double, five RBI and two runs scored in Friday's 19-2 win against Pittsburgh.

Tellez hammered a three-run homer off of Roansy Contreras as part of Milwaukee's seven-run second inning. He then brought in two more runs with his fourth-inning double. After a 20-game homerless drought, the 27-year-old has gone deep six times over his last nine appearances. Tellez improved his slash line to .247/.319/.498 with 16 home runs and 53 RBI through 74 games.

  • Alec Bohm 3B | PHI

    Phillies' Alec Bohm: Sitting Friday

Bohm will sit Friday versus the Cardinals.

Bohm will be on the bench for the series opener after he went 4-for-12 with an RBI and a run in the prior series against Atlanta. The third baseman currently owns a six-game hit streak, going 9-for-24 with three doubles, two RBI and three runs over that stretch. Matt Vierling will draw the start at the hot corner and bat eighth against St. Louis.
