Gurriel is out of the lineup Sunday against the Dodgers, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

Gurriel was well overdue for a day off after starting the Astros' past 19 games and submitting a .231/.241/.256 batting line over that span. He'll be replaced at first base Sunday by Tyler White, who will bat fifth.

O'Hearn will start at first base and bat eighth Sunday against the Twins.

Prior to sitting out Saturday, O'Hearn had started four consecutive contests, going 2-for-13 with a home run and three walks in his first MLB at-bats. The 25-year-old looks like he'll have the opportunity to play on a near-everyday basis, with he and Lucas Duda likely splitting time between first base and designated hitter.

Cron is out of the lineup Sunday against the White Sox, Scott Merkin of MLB.com reports.

Cron has gone just 8-for-42 (.190 average) at the plate since the All-Star break, though three of his hits during that stretch have been home runs. The slump shouldn't result in Cron surrendering his role as the Rays' primary designated hitter, though he may begin ceding starts to Ji-Man Choi -- who enters the lineup Sunday -- more frequently if he fails to right the ship.

Abreu went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 2-1 win over the Rays.

His fourth-inning shot off Blake Snell pulled the White Sox level before they stole the game in the ninth inning. Abreu's numbers in 2018 are below his usual standards, but he still has a .267/.328/.484 slash line with 19 home runs and 63 RBI in 108 games.

Wade was placed on the seven-day disabled list at Triple-A Rochester with a right hamstring strain, Jake Depue of 1500 ESPN reports.

The strain is reportedly not a serious one, but he'll miss at least a week. The 24-year-old is hitting .250/.376/.378 in 50 games since he was promoted to Rochester.

Olson went 1-for-2 with a double and two walks in an extra-innings win over the Tigers on Friday.

It's now a five-game hitting streak for Olson, a modest-but- nevertheless-encouraging stretch of offense during which he's laced four doubles, knocked in a pair of runs and posted three multi-hit efforts overall. Olson had seen his average plummet all the way to .229 prior to the streak, its lowest point since May 13.

Dalbec was called up to Double-A Portland on Friday, Alex Speier of The Boston Globe reports.

Dalbec was mashing the ball with High-A Salem this year, slashing .256/.372/.573 with 26 home runs and 85 RBI across 100 games. He will get his first opportunity at the Double-A level following this promotion and will need to cut down on a 31 percent strikeout rate that plagued him during his time in Salem.

Cron went 1-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored Thursday in the 4-2 victory over Los Angeles.

Cron delivered a two-run single in the fourth inning, handing the Rays an early lead. He's gone 8-for-34 with three homers and six RBI over his last 10 games, and he's pieced together a .253/.323/.482 slash line through 100 games with the Rays in 2018.

Abreu went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and two runs scored in Thursday's win over the Royals.

It was his 17th home run of the season and fourth since the All-Star break. Abreu is on pace for another 25-plus-homer campaign, but after four straight seasons hitting .290 or better to begin his big-league career, Abreu has seen his average sink to .263 this season. The Statcast numbers (.289 xBA entering play Thursday) suggest that mark is bound to improve over the final two months.

Calhoun went 1-for-2 with two walks and a solo home run in Wednesday's 7-2 loss to the Rays.

He's reached base in 11 straight games since the All-Star break, hitting .357 (15-for-42) with five homers, 10 runs and 15 RBI over that stretch. Calhoun now has 14 home runs on the year and his slash line continues its climb towards respectability after his brutal first half, now standing at .211/.271/.391.
