Cron went 4-for-5 with a home run, a double, two runs scored and a strikeout in Wednesday's win over the Braves.

Cron connected for his 25th home run to lead off the third inning as part of a season-high four-hit night. The 28-year-old has been sharing time as the designated hitter with Ji-Man Choi, but Cron has been making the most of his playing time of late with a .366 average (15-for-41) with three homers over his last 11 games to raise his slash line to .256/.324/.487.

Olson went 1-for-3 with a walk and a three-run homer in Tuesday's win over the Astros.

Olson smashed a long home run -- his 24th of the year -- off Charlie Morton in the third inning to give Oakland a two-run lead at the time. Olson is hitting .238/.324/.447 on the year with 64 RBI while his 24 home runs and 67 runs both rank within the top five among MLB first basemen. While he has hit just three home runs over his last 33 games, the 24-year-old has slashed 13 doubles and recorded 15 RBI over that span.

O'Hearn is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Tigers, Jeffrey Flanagan of MLB.com reports.

O'Hearn has started nine straight games, hitting .281/.324/.656 with three homers over that stretch, but he'll head to the bench Tuesday with a lefty (Matt Boyd) on the mound for the Tigers. The 25-year-old is just 1-for-20 against southpaws this season. Jorge Bonifacio will serve as the designated hitter in his place.

Calhoun went 3-for-4 with a double, stolen base and a run Monday in the Angels' 10-7 triumph over the Rockies.

Perhaps no everyday player has provided as extreme first- and second-half splits this season as Calhoun, who had likely hit the waiver wire in most fantasy formats after rolling into the All-Star break with a .187 average and only 15 extra-base hits through 75 contests. Calhoun's handy glovework in the outfield -- along with a lack of appealing alternatives -- prompted the Angels to give him a long leash in his full-time role, and he has rewarded the team's patience with a huge post-break performance. Through 34 second-half games, Calhoun has slashed .306/.382/.567 with eight home runs, 28 runs and 25 RBI, allowing him to seize control of the leadoff role.

White is hitting .457 (16-for-35) with two home runs and 14 RBI over his last 10 games at High-A Modesto.

The 22-year-old first baseman also has nine walks, a pair of stolen bases and 10 runs over that span, providing a glimpse of his impressive all-around offensive repertoire. White is slashing .298/.366/.452 with 43 extra-base hits (25 doubles, seven triples, 11 homers) and 62 RBI over 506 plate appearances with the Nuts in 2018.

Gurriel is not in the lineup Monday against the A's, Jake Kaplan of The Athletic Houston reports.

Gurriel is in the midst of an eight-game hitting streak, slashing .323/.364/.516 with a homer, a stolen base and six RBI over that stretch. He'll give way to Tyler White for Monday's series opener after starting 11 straight games.

Voit went 3-for-3 with a two-run home run and two runs in the Yankees' 5-3 victory over the Orioles on Sunday.

Voit has been on a power binge since he was recalled from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, as this was his third long ball in his last four games. He only has 40 at-bats at the big-league level so far this season, but he's made the most of them, as he's currently sporting a .325/.400/.625 slash line.

Manager Rick Renteria said Abreu (abdomen) is "doing well" and is confident the first baseman will play again this season, Phil Thompson of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Abreu underwent surgery on the abdomen last week and was given a two-week prognosis, although Renteria was quick to caution that he'll need to acclimate to baseball activity before getting back on the field. "I have no doubt about that but he has to continue to heal from the surgery before we put him out on the field and see how we can wrap him up as quickly as we possibly can," the manager said.

Cron is out of the lineup Sunday against the Red Sox, Steve Carney of Sports Radio 620 WDAE reports.

Cron is on the bench for the second time in the series after going 0-for-2 while reaching base on a hit by pitch and a walk in Saturday's 5-1 win. Ji-Man Choi will spell Cron at designated hitter in Sunday's matinee, and it appears likely that the duo could continue to share at-bats the rest of the way.

O'Hearn went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBI against the Indians on Saturday.

O'Hearn drove in three runs for the second time since his major-league debut last month on the strength of a two-run double and an RBI single. He has made the most of his time in the lineup, hitting six home runs in 59 at-bats. However, he has been a viable option only when he has the platoon advantage, recording only one hit in 19 at-bats against left-handed pitchers.
