Ryan Mountcastle 1B | BAL
Orioles' Ryan Mountcastle: Homers and doubles in victory
Mountcastle went 2-for-5 with a double and a three-run home run in Tuesday's 7-2 win over the Rangers.
Mountcastle blasted an opposite-field shot off Andrew Heaney to extend the Orioles lead to 5-0 in the second inning. The first baseman has homered twice and driven in six runs over the first five games of the season .

Spencer Torkelson 1B | DET
Tigers' Spencer Torkelson: Goes deep in three-hit game
Torkelson went 3-for-4 with a double, a home run and three RBI in Tuesday's win over the Astros.
Torkelson doubled home a run in the top of the first inning, then blasted a two-run shot in the eighth for his first home run of the season. The 23-year-old had a tough rookie campaign last year, though there's plenty of talent here, so fantasy managers should stick with him, especially following Tuesday's strong performance.

Gabriel Arias SS | CLE
Guardians' Gabriel Arias: Gets start at first base
Arias is hitting sixth and playing first base Tuesday against the Athletics.
Arias is expected to serve in a utility role this season that will see him play all over the diamond, and he's getting a look at first base in the early part of the campaign. Josh Naylor is the designated hitter for Tuesday's contest, while Josh Bell will get a day off.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. 1B | TOR
Blue Jays' Vladimir Guerrero: Swipes bag Monday
Guerrero went 1-for-4 with a walk, an RBI and a stolen base in Monday's loss to the Royals.
It's a little wild that Guerrero stole his first base of the season before hitting his first home run, but his fantasy GMs know the latter will be coming soon enough. The 24-year-old first baseman has gotten on base at a .450 clip through Toronto's first four games, going 4-for-14 with a double, four walks and a HBP while collecting four RBI. Guerrero did steal a surprising eight bags in 11 attempts last year, and MLB's rule changes to boost the running game might allow him to reach double digits in 2023.

Vinnie Pasquantino 1B | KC
Royals' Vinnie Pasquantino: Sitting out Tuesday
Pasquantino is absent from the Royals' lineup for Tuesday's game against the Blue Jays.
The Jays are throwing left-hander Yusei Kikuchi, so Pasquantino will receive his first day off of the season. Hunter Dozier will shift over to first base and Matt Duffy will handle third. Pasquantino is off to a slow 2-for-14 start this season.

Ty France 1B | SD
Mariners' Ty France: Doubles, steals in loss
France went 1-for-5 with an RBI double and a stolen base in a loss to the Angels on Monday.
France pulled off a rare steal of third base after his third-inning two-bagger snapped a 1-1 tie by bringing home Julio Rodriguez. The 28-year-old France has hit safely in four of his first five games while striking out just once during his first 22 plate appearances, and the steal was the first of his big-league career.

Ryan Noda 1B | BAL
Athletics' Ryan Noda: Doubles in first big-league start
Noda went 2-for-5 with a double and a run in an extra-inning loss to the Guardians on Monday.
Jesus Aguilar was given the night off after three straight starts to open the season, and Noda was afforded the opportunity to log his first major-league start in the process. The Rule 5 Draft selection displayed some of the pop that enticed the Athletics to hold on to him after Cactus League play, and he also crossed the plate in the second inning on Esteury Ruiz's double after leading off the frame with a single in his first regular-season big-league plate appearance. It's an encouraging start for Noda, who could work himself into a solid share of playing time between first base and designated hitter if he proves capable of wielding a consistent bat.

Triston Casas 1B | BOS
Red Sox's Triston Casas: Launches homer in loss
Casas went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Monday's 7-6 loss to the Pirates.
Casas went yard for the first time this season. His was the last of three first-inning home runs and gave him five RBI through four games. Boston's bats have been prominent thus far, giving players like Casas, a sixth-place hitter who is 2-for-11 (.182), plenty of RBI opportunities.
