Blues' Hunter Skinner: Placed on waivers by St. Louis
Skinner was placed on waivers by the Blues on Sunday, Jeremy Rutherford of The Athletic reports.
Skinner joined the Blues on a two-way deal during the offseason, but he'll be left off the team's Opening Night roster ahead of the 2025-26 campaign. He hasn't yet made his regular-season debut in the NHL and will likely head to AHL Springfield if he clears waivers.

Blues' Hunter Skinner: Receives two-way contract
Skinner signed a one-year, $775,000 contract with St. Louis on Sunday, PuckPedia reports.
This is a two-way deal for Skinner. The 24-year-old defenseman logged eight goals, 23 points, 98 PIM and a plus-2 rating over 71 regular-season appearances with AHL Springfield in 2024-25. A fourth-round selection by the Rangers in 2019, Skinner has yet to make his NHL debut, so he'll provide organizational depth for St. Louis this coming season.

Blues' Hunter Skinner: Reassigned to AHL
Skinner was returned to AHL Springfield on Sunday.
Skinner accounted for three goals, 10 points and 94 PIM across 50 AHL regular-season appearances in 2023-24. The 23-year-old defender doesn't have any NHL experience yet, and he will probably spend most of the 2024-25 campaign in the minors.

Blues' Hunter Skinner: Climbs to NHL
Skinner was recalled from AHL Springfield on Friday.
Skinner will be available to play in Saturday's preseason finale versus the Blackhawks. The 23-year-old blueliner was waived last Sunday and will likely return to the AHL ahead of Opening Night.
