Blackhawks' Artyom Levshunov: Chips in on power play
Rotowire
Levshunov had a power-play assist, put two shots on goal and dished out two hits in Thursday's 3-2 loss to Seattle.
Levshunov picked up the secondary helper on Teuvo Teravainen's power-play goal midway through the second period. With the helper, the 20-year-old Levshunov has 11 assists, 21 shots on net, 22 hits and 16 blocks through 19 games this season. While he's still on the hunt for his first career goal, the No. 2 overall selection from the 2024 NHL Entry Draft has been an exceptional playmaker this season. Nine of his 11 helpers have been in his last 11 games, proving that his role with the Blackhawks is trending upwards. Look for the young blueliner to lead Chicago's defensemen in assists this season while playing a solid role on the power play. Levshunov is a top waiver-wire target in deep leagues and is developing the category coverage and offensive resume needed to be rostered in standard formats.

Blackhawks' Artyom Levshunov: Dishes two power-play helpers
Rotowire
Levshunov recorded two power-play assists, blocked two shots and had two hits in Sunday's 5-1 win over the Red Wings.
Levshunov recorded the second multi-point game of his young career Sunday, helping out on power-play goals scored by Connor Bedard and Tyler Bertuzzi. Overall, the 20-year-old Levshunov has nine assists, 12 shots on goal, 16 hits and 11 blocks across 15 games this season. The No. 2 overall selection from the 2024 NHL Entry Draft is beginning to carve out a role on Chicago's blue line with his ice time trending upward over the last four games. Seven of his nine helpers have come in his last seven outings, which should help him maintain a top-four role. Levshunov is one of the top fantasy stashes in all formats and has the chance to be the top offensive contributor on Chicago's blue line this season.
Levshunov notched a power-play assist in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Canucks.
Levshunov was bumped up to the top power-play unit during the game, and it paid off when he helped out on Tyler Bertuzzi's second goal. The 20-year-old Levshunov has four helpers over his last five games. The Blackhawks' tendency to dress seven defensemen allows them to give Levshunov sheltered minutes, but it could also lead to dramatic shifts in ice time if his defensive play slips. He has six helpers (two on the power play), 12 shots on net, 13 hits, nine blocked shots, 10 PIM and a plus-3 rating through 13 appearances.

Blackhawks' Artyom Levshunov: Off to strong start
Rotowire
Levshunov got his first point of the 2025-26 campaign, an assist, in Thursday's 4-3 overtime loss to Boston.
Levshunov made Chicago's roster out of training camp and has gotten into each of the Blackhawks' first two games. While it's still early, there's reason to believe the 19-year-old will be a regular with the Blackhawks throughout the year. After being selected with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2024 NHL Draft, he had five goals, 22 points and 59 PIM across 52 regular-season appearances with AHL Rockford as well as six assists in 18 outings with Chicago during the 2024-25 campaign. Levshunov has tons of offensive upside, so he's worth keeping a close eye on.

Blackhawks' Artyom Levshunov: Plucks apple Saturday
Rotowire
Levshunov notched an assist and two hits in Saturday's 5-4 shootout loss to the Jets.
Levshunov snapped a five-game point drought with the helper. The 19-year-old defenseman, one of the Blackhawks' top prospects, has gotten shuffled down the lineup a bit with the arrival of Sam Rinzel. Levshunov and Rinzel could end up competing for first-pairing minutes in 2025-26, though they could be risky options in redraft leagues if the Blackhawks' roster doesn't make significant improvements. Through 16 appearances, Levshunov has six assists, 21 shots on net, 16 blocked shots, 13 hits and a minus-15 rating. He is eligible to participate in AHL Rockford's playoff run.
Levshunov notched a power-play assist and went minus-2 in Tuesday's 6-2 loss to the Kraken.
The Blackhawks' opening goal was a glimpse into the future, as Levshunov set up Connor Bedard for the tally. That's the No. 1 defenseman and No. 1 center for the rest of the decade connecting on a goal. So far, Levshunov has been up to the challenge in the NHL with two points, six shots on net and eight blocked shots, but he also has a minus-7 rating over four contests. That's the price he'll have to pay until the Blackhawks' young core gets into their collective prime years.

Blackhawks' Artyom Levshunov: Earns first career assist
Rotowire
Levshunov notched an assist, two shots on goal, four blocked shots and a minus-2 rating in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Canucks.
It took Levshunov just three games to get on the scoresheet for the first time -- he set up a Wyatt Kaiser tally for his first career assist. Levshunov is already handling top-four minutes for the Blackhawks, and he's also getting power-play time. There will be growing pains for the 19-year-old, as he's already taken a minus-5 rating, but he's added seven blocked shots and six shots on net through three outings, so the skills that made him the second-overall pick in 2024 are evident right from the start.
