  • Maple Leafs' Ryan Tverberg: Inks one-year contract

Tverberg signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Maple Leafs on Saturday, per PuckPedia. Tverberg had 15 goals, 36 points and 36 PIM in 63 regular-season appearances with AHL Toronto in 2025-26. He also had six goals and 14 points in 24 playoff outings with the Marlies to help them win the Calder Cup. The 24-year-old enjoyed a two-game stint in the NHL last campaign, including his NHL debut April 13. He had no points, two PIM and three hits across those two appearances. Tverberg will probably start the upcoming season in the minors.

  • Maple Leafs' Ryan Tverberg: Three points in AHL win

Tverberg scored twice and added an assist in AHL Toronto's 5-2 win over Cleveland in Game 4 on Friday. Tverberg helped the Marlies force a decisive Game 5 in the North Division Finals. He's been steady this postseason with five goals, three assists and 14 shots on net over 12 contests. That comes after a 36-point performance over 63 regular-season games, which was enough to earn Tverberg his NHL debut in April.

  • Maple Leafs' Ryan Tverberg: Shipped down to minors

Tverberg was reassigned to AHL Toronto on Friday. Tverberg made his NHL debut this season, logging two games for the Leafs in which he generated three hits, one shot and two PIM. If the 24-year-old Ontario native can bring the offensive upside he showed in the minors -- 14 goals and 18 assists in 61 games -- he should be capable of earning more NHL opportunities in 2026-27.
