Kaprizov scored a power-play goal on four shots in Tuesday's 5-0 win over the Capitals.
The goal was Kaprizov's 70th career power-play tally, setting a franchise record for the Wild by breaking a tie with Zach Parise. This was Kaprizov's first goal on the power play since Nov. 26. The 28-year-old superstar is up to 21 goals, 38 points, 113 shots on net and a plus-1 rating over 34 contests this season. Kaprizov's quiet stretch in early December has taken him off a 100-point pace for the year, but he's still among the most productive forwards in the league.

Wild's Kirill Kaprizov: Reaches 20-goal mark
Kaprizov scored twice on four shots, added an assist, blocked two shots and went plus-3 in Sunday's 6-2 win over the Bruins.
Kaprizov had been limited to three points over his last six outings. Kaprizov scored two goals in a 3-2 shootout win over Colorado on Friday.
The first goal -- Kaprizov's 200th in the NHL -- deflected off his skate and in. It ended the Avs' franchise shutout streak at 217:42. He scored his second from the slot off a nice feed from Ryan Hartman, who had wrapped around the net. Kaprizov (344 games) became the fourth-fastest player drafted in the fifth round or later to score 200 goals, joining Hall-of-Famers Brett Hull (280 games), Luc Robitaille (323 games) and Pavel Bure (328 games).

The Wild have had mixed results overall, but the power play is an early bright spot, and Kaprizov is playing a massive part there. He has scored all four of his goals with the man advantage, and three of his five assists have also come with the Wild on the power play. The 28-year-old has added 19 shots on net, a minus-3 rating, two hits and two blocked shots while filling his usual top-line role. The even-strength production will come in due time, but Kaprizov has wasted little time reminding the NHL that he has 100-point potential when everything clicks.
