Antonio Stranges: Doesn't receive qualifying offer

Stranges didn't receive a qualifying offer from the Stars, and he'll become an unrestricted free agent Wednesday. Stranges spent a third consecutive season with AHL Texas during the 2025-26 campaign, racking up 14 goals, 20 assists and 12 PIM across 70 regular-season appearances. He'll attempt to seek out other opportunities during the offseason.

Stranges was put on waivers Sunday, PuckPedia reports. Stranges generated 18 goals and 43 points over 55 games for AHL Texas in the 2024-25 regular season. The 23-year-old forward hasn't made his NHL debut yet, and he could spend most of the 2025-26 campaign in the minors.
