  • Jets' Eric Comrie: Makes 27 saves in defeat

Comrie stopped 27 of 30 shots in Sunday's 3-0 loss to the Wild. Comrie started for a third straight game due to the absence of Connor Hellebuyck (knee), and once again, the results weren't encouraging. He's gone 1-2-0 with a 3.02 GAA and an .887 save percentage in his three starts since Hellebuyck went down. Expect him to remain as the Jets' No. 1 goaltender until Hellebuyck is ready to return, which is not expected to occur for at least four to six weeks at a minimum.

  • Jets' Eric Comrie: Facing Wild

Comrie will patrol the home crease against Minnesota on Sunday, Ken Wiebe of The Winnipeg Free Press reports. Comrie is coming off a 24-save effort in Friday's 4-3 loss to Carolina. He has a 4-2-0 record while allowing 17 goals on 169 shots through six appearances this season. Comrie will see plenty of action due to the absence of Connor Hellebuyck (knee). Minnesota sits 25th in the league with 2.86 goals per game this campaign.

  • Jets' Eric Comrie: Falters in home loss

Comrie stopped 24 of 28 shots in Friday's 4-3 loss to the Hurricanes. Comrie's first task as the temporary starter for the Jets was a tough one, and he wasn't quite up to the challenge. Jordan Staal scored twice, while Seth Jarvis had a shorthanded goal and Andrei Svechnikov struck on the power play to send Comrie to just his second loss in six outings this season. He's at 4-2-0 with a 2.84 GAA and an .899 save percentage over six starts. The 30-year-old is set to see a majority of the action between the pipes while Connor Hellebuyck (knee) will be out until the latter half of December at best. The Jets' next game is at home versus the Wild on Sunday.

  • Jets' Eric Comrie: In goal versus Hurricanes

Comrie will tend the home goal versus the Hurricanes on Friday. Comrie is in line for a massive boost in workload while Connor Hellebuyck (knee) is out due to arthroscopic surgery for the next 4-6 weeks. In the backup role this year, Comrie is 4-1-0 with a 2.60 GAA and a .908 save percentage over five games. His ratios will likely take a hit since he won't be sheltered from tough matchups, but the added playing time makes him a valuable addition to fantasy rosters.

  • Jets' Eric Comrie: Earns win Tuesday

Comrie stopped 20 of 22 shots in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Blue Jackets. Comrie made his first appearance since allowing four goals on 21 shots in a 4-1 loss to the Ducks on Nov. 9, but he bounced back admirably and notched a solid performance. Comrie has appeared in only five games this season, but the Jets have won four of those contests. He remains a reliable backup behind Connor Hellebuyck while sporting a 2.60 GAA and a .908 save percentage.

  • Jets' Eric Comrie: Can't stop quack attack

Comrie stopped 17 of 21 shots in Sunday's 4-1 loss to the Ducks. Beckett Sennecke scored twice at even strength and Leo Carlsson had two power-play goals to account for the damage on Comrie's line. This was Comrie's first loss and worst game in four starts this season. He still maintains a .908 save percentage despite Sunday's setback. The 30-year-old won't see much playing time as Connor Hellebuyck's backup -- look for Hellebuyck to try to get the Jets back on track when they visit the Canucks on Tuesday.

  • Jets' Eric Comrie: Has difficult task Sunday

Comrie will defend the visiting crease Sunday against the Ducks, according to Derek Lee of The Hockey News. Comrie is a perfect 3-0-0 to start the year, posting a 2.33 GAA and .929 save percentage across three appearances. The 30-year-old will have an extremely tough task attempting to slow down a red-hot Anaheim club -- the Ducks have won six straight games, a stretch in which they have found the back of the net 29 times. The Jets have the rest advantage Sunday, as they last played Friday, while Anaheim came out with a road win versus the Golden Knights on Saturday.

  • Jets' Eric Comrie: Stays undefeated

Comrie made 28 saves in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Penguins. The 30-year-old netminder cruised to the victory as the Jets scored their first goal just 15 seconds into the game and built a 4-0 lead before Sidney Crosby finally solved Comrie on a Pens power play late in the second period. Comrie predictably isn't getting much work behind Connor Hellebuyck, but he's taking advantage of his opportunities between the pipes, going 3-0-0 with a 2.33 GAA and .929 save percentage.

  • Jets' Eric Comrie: Starting Saturday

Comrie will patrol the home crease against Pittsburgh on Saturday, according to Penguins play-by-play announcer Josh Getzoff. Comrie has a 2-0-0 record this season while turning aside 63 of the 68 shots he has faced. He likely won't play much behind Connor Hellebuyck this campaign, but Comrie has been a decent backup for the team over the years. Pittsburgh has scored 3.67 goals per game in 2025-26, ranking fourth in the league.

  • Jets' Eric Comrie: Comes away with win

Comrie stopped 30 of 33 shots in Friday's 5-3 win over the Flames. Comrie got the job done in the second half of a back-to-back despite allowing a goal in each period. The 30-year-old netminder has allowed five goals on 68 shots over his first two starts this season, winning both of them. He won't play much as backup to reigning MVP and Vezina winner Connor Hellebuyck, but the Jets' strong structure makes Comrie a quality backup for streaming in fantasy when he gets the nod. Look for Hellebuyck to face the high-octane Mammoth on Sunday.

  • Jets' Eric Comrie: Expected to start Friday

Comrie is expected to start at home against the Flames on Friday, Ken Wiebe of The Winnipeg Free Press reports. The Jets are playing the second half of a back-to-back set Friday, and Comrie is slated to make his second start of the year after Connor Hellebuyck started against Seattle on Thursday. Comrie was effective in his season debut against the Islanders on Oct. 13, turning aside 33 of 35 shots (.943 save percentage) in a 5-2 victory.

  • Jets' Eric Comrie: Picks up first win Monday

Comrie made 33 of 35 saves in Monday's 5-2 win over the Islanders. Comrie posted a clean first period before allowing two goals in the second frame to New York's Jean-Gabriel Pageau and Emil Heineman. By the time of Heineman's goal, however, the Jets had a commanding 4-2 lead and Comrie was able to coast through the final period. With his first win of the season under his belt, the 30-year-old netminder is set to maintain his role as the primary backup to reigning Hart and Vezina Trophy winner Connor Hellebuyck. Despite his anticipated limit of starting opportunities this season, Comrie is a solid streaming option in all fantasy formats whenever he's set to guard Winnipeg's crease. He will likely step in for Hellebuyck during consecutive game nights, but could draw certain spot starts depending on the matchup and Hellebuyck's availability.

  • Jets' Eric Comrie: Starting Monday

Comrie will defend the road net against the Islanders on Monday, according to Andrew Gross of Newsday. Comrie will see his first game action of the season after Connor Hellebuyck went 1-1-0 to begin the year. The 30-year-old Comrie posted a 9-10-1 record with two shutouts, a 2.39 GAA and a .914 save percentage across 20 regular-season appearances in 2024-25.

  • Jets' Eric Comrie: First off at morning skate

Comrie is slated to draw the home start in Tuesday's preseason game versus Edmonton, according to Ken Wiebe of The Winnipeg Free Press. Comrie heads into the 2025-26 campaign locked in as the No. 2 option between the pipes behind Connor Hellebuyck for the second time in the last four years. The 30-year-old Comrie was a serviceable backup option in 2024-25, as he posted a 2.39 GAA and a .914 save percentage, but he wasn't provided with much support -- he had a 9-10-1 record over 20 regular-season appearances.

  • Jets' Eric Comrie: Plays third period again Friday

Comrie stopped all four shots he faced in relief of Connor Hellebuyck in Friday's 5-2 loss to the Blues in Game 6. This was Comrie's third relief appearance in the postseason. He's allowed just one goal on 13 shots over those three outings, which total 42:59 of ice time. Hellebuyck's ongoing road struggles have taken the headlines in the first round, but there's virtually no chance the Jets will turn to Comrie for Game 7 on Sunday in Winnipeg.

  • Jets' Eric Comrie: Drawing home start

Comrie will tend the home twine Sunday versus the Oilers, Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site reports. Comrie posted a 26-save shutout in his last start against the Golden Knights on April 3. The 29-year-old has a 9-9-1 record, 2.36 GAA and .914 save percentage over 19 appearances this season. The Jets are on the second half of a back-to-back after defeating Chicago 5-4 in a shootout Saturday, while the Oilers last played Friday.

  • Jets' Eric Comrie: Stellar in shutout win

Comrie posted a 26-save shutout in Thursday's 4-0 win over the Golden Knights. Comrie gave Connor Hellebuyck a breather in a tough locale and then proceeded to steal the show. This was the fourth shutout of Comrie's career, two of which have come this season as he continues to play well in the backup role for the Jets. The 29-year-old is now 9-9-1 with a 2.36 GAA and a .914 save percentage over 19 appearances, which matches his career high. He'll likely get another start or two over the Jets' final six regular-season games to help keep Hellebuyck fresh for the playoffs. He needs one more appearance and two more wins to set career highs in each category.

  • Jets' Eric Comrie: Expected to start Thursday

Comrie is set to start on the road against Vegas on Thursday, per Ken Wiebe of The Winnipeg Free Press. Comrie has an 8-9-1 record, 2.49 GAA and .909 save percentage across 18 appearances in 2024-25. He's used primarily when Winnipeg wants to give Connor Hellebuyck a breather, and Comrie consequently appeared in just three March games. The 29-year-old Comrie is drawing a tough assignment against the Golden Knights, who rank fifth in the NHL in goals per game with 3.39.

  • Jets' Eric Comrie: With team on road trip

Comrie (personal) was on the ice for the morning skate, per Ken Wiebe of The Winnipeg Free Press, which indicates he'll be available to back up Connor Hellebuyck against the Kings on Tuesday. Comrie was reported to have stayed in Winnipeg while awaiting the birth of his child, but he'll seemingly be available Tuesday after joining the team on the ice in Los Angeles. Chris Driedger was brought up from AHL Manitoba on Monday in the event that Comrie was unavailable in the short term, so Winnipeg had a backup plan in place behind Connor Hellebuyck.

  • Jets' Eric Comrie: Staying back in Winnipeg

Comrie is going to remain in Winnipeg ahead of Tuesday's road game versus the Kings for the birth of his child, Murat Ates of The Athletic reports. With Comrie unavailable to serve as the backup against Los Angeles, the Jets recalled Chris Driedger from AHL Manitoba on Monday. The team didn't immediately provide an update on whether Comrie would rejoin the team later in its three-game road trip, but with no back-to-backs on the short-term schedule, he may not miss any starts regardless.
