The 30-year-old defenseman has four goals and seven assists during the streak, which is just a further showcase of his steady offense from the Jets' top pairing. He's up to five goals, 22 points, 36 shots on net, 43 blocked shots and a plus-9 rating through 20 outings overall. After being limited to 14 goals and 62 points in 80 regular-season contests a year ago, Morrissey is on pace to push for career-best production in all of the offensive categories in 2025-26.

Jets' Josh Morrissey: Point streak up to six games
Morrissey recorded a goal and an assist in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Blue Jackets.
Morrissey gave the Jets a 2-1 lead early in the second period with a tip-in, and he'd later assist Kyle Connor's goal in the third period to boost Winnipeg's lead to 4-1. Morrissey only has four goals, but he's among the best playmaking defensemen in the NHL and is up to 17 assists, good for third in the league among blueliners. His ongoing six-game point streak includes three multi-point performances, three goals, seven assists, 10 shots on goal, 12 blocked shots, four hits and a minus-1 rating.

Morrissey has gotten on the scoresheet in eight of the Jets' last nine games, with the lone exception being last Tuesday's shutout loss to the Kings. The 30-year-old blueliner had two points, including his goal, in the first period, and he added a power-play helper on Gabriel Vilardi's tally in the third. Morrissey is up to three goals, 16 points (four on the power play), 30 shots on net, 31 blocked shots and a plus-9 rating through 16 contests. All three of his goals have come in the last six games.

Morrissey scored a goal on two shots in Friday's 2-1 loss to the Sharks.
Morrissey buried a quick shot off a faceoff win at 12:34 of the first period. The Jets held that 1-0 lead for all of 1:12 before Macklin Celebrini tied the game, which then settled into a stalemate until Will Smith's third-period tally tipped it in favor of the Sharks. Morrissey has gotten on the scoresheet in six of the last seven games, and in total, he has two goals, 10 assists, 25 shots on net, 27 blocked shots and a plus-9 rating through 14 appearances. He'll continue to be one of the most reliable scoring blueliners in fantasy while playing on a strong team.

Morrissey has logged three multi-point efforts during his four-game point streak. After a three-assist showing against Calgary on Friday, Morrissey followed up with two more helpers Sunday night. Jets' Josh Morrissey: Healthy ahead of training camp
Morrissey (knee) is at full health ahead of training camp, Ken Wiebe of The Winnipeg Free Press reports Wednesday.
Morrissey is on Team Canada's list for its Olympic orientation camp, and he is participating on the ice. Morrissey suffered a similar injury to his opposite knee a couple of years ago, and he was able to get back to on-ice activities earlier in the summer, so he has had a fairly normal offseason routine. In addition to his Olympic hopes, the 30-year-old is poised to play a massive role on the Jets' top pairing and first power-play unit in the 2025-26 NHL campaign. He exceeded the 60-point mark for the third year in a row during the 2024-25 regular season.

Jets' Josh Morrissey: Won't need knee surgery
Morrissey (knee) stated Tuesday that he will not require surgery for the injury he sustained in Game 6 against the Stars, Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site reports.
Morrissey also said that his knee injury probably would have kept him sidelined for the remainder of the playoffs had the Jets advanced past the Stars. It's unclear if Morrissey will be ready for the start of training camp in September, but he has plenty of time to attempt to make a full recovery. The left-shot blueliner has two seasons remaining on the eight-year, $50 million contract he signed with Winnipeg in September of 2019.

Jets' Josh Morrissey: Needs further evaluation
Morrissey sustained a knee injury in Saturday's Game 6 loss to the Stars, and head coach Scott Arniel specified that the injury is "not good," Mark Lazerus of The Athletic reports.
Morrissey was injured when Mikko Rantanen fell on his leg in the second period. Given the update from Arniel, it's likely Morrissey would have missed some time had the Jets been able to extend their season. The severity of the injury may be revealed once the defenseman is evaluated back in Winnipeg. If surgery is required, this injury may impact his availability for training camp and the start of the 2025-26 campaign.

Morrissey threaded an assist and went plus-2 in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Stars in Game 3.
Morrissey's hands and vision were on full display when he danced around the Stars' Colin Blackwell inside the blue line and found Nino Niederreiter for a one-timer to tie the game at 2-2, but the Jets were blanked by Jake Oettinger the rest of the way. Morrissey has earned a helper in back-to-back outings after sitting out Game 1 due to an upper-body injury, and he'll be heavily relied upon for offense again in Game 4 on Tuesday as the Jets try to avoid a 3-1 series deficit. The 30-year-old defenseman has logged no less than 22:39 of ice time in both matchups since returning to the lineup, so he doesn't seem to be bothered by the injury that knocked him out of Game 7 in the first round against St. Louis.
