Texans' Henry To'oTo'o: Sacks Allen in Week 12 win
To'oTo'o posted seven tackles (three solo), including 1.0 sacks, during Houston's 23-19 win over Buffalo on Thursday.
To'oTo'o was responsible for one of the Texans' eight sacks of Josh Allen, with the former's taking place on the last play of the third quarter that resulted in an eight-yard loss. To'oTo'o is up to 2.5 sacks on the year, 1.5 of which have come over his last three games. He has accumulated 28 tackles (12 solo) and two pass defenses in the six games since the Texans' Week 6 bye.

Texans' Azeez Al-Shaair: Helps cause turnover in TNF win
Al-Shaair posted seven tackles (four solo) and one pass defense during the Texans' 23-19 win over the Bills on Thursday.
Al-Shaair was given the green light to play Thursday after battling through a knee injury and illness during Week 12 prep. He ended up playing every single defensive snap, and he tipped a Josh Allen pass that was picked off by Calen Bullock late in the second quarter, which led to a Ka'imi Fairbairn 43-yard field goal four plays later. Al-Shaair is up to 71 combined tackles through 11 regular-season games, which surpassed his total during the 2024 season (70 tackles, also over 11 regular-season games).

Texans' Jaylen Reed: Game-high 12 stops in TNF win
Reed posted 12 tackles (nine solo) and a fumble recovery during the Texans' 23-19 win over the Bills on Thursday.
Reed mostly served on special teams over his five games prior to Week 12, but he was thrust into a starting position at safety after practice squad member Jalen Mills started against the Titans in Week 11. Reed took advantage of the opportunity, leading both teams with 12 tackles while recovering a Khalil Shakir fumble late in the third quarter that led to a 26-yard field goal by Ka'imi Fairbairn seven plays later. With Jimmie Ward (foot) still on the PUP list and M.J. Stewart (quadriceps) out for the rest of the season, Reed could be the Texans' second starting safety alongside Calen Bullock over the coming weeks.

Texans' Danielle Hunter: Doesn't let up in win
Hunter recorded six tackles, including 2.0 sacks, in Thursday's 23-16 win over the Bills in Week 12.
It was quite a competition between Hunter and teammate Will Anderson, who came away with 2.5 sacks. Hunter now has 7.0 sacks over the last three weeks and ranks third in the league with 11.0, half a sack more than Anderson.

Texans' Will Anderson: Reaches double-digit sacks
Anderson had six tackles (two for loss), including 2.5 sacks, and defensed one pass in Thursday's 23-16 win over Buffalo in Week 12.
The fingerprints of Houston's defense were all over this win, and Anderson was instrumental. The 2.5 sacks were a season high, gave him at least one sack in six straight games and moved him to 10.5 for the season, marking his second consecutive year with double-digit sacks. Anderson ranks fourth in the league in that category, a half-sack behind his teammate, Danielle Hunter, who recorded 2.0 sacks himself Thursday.

Texans' Calen Bullock: Makes major contributions in win
Bullock logged five tackles, two interceptions and a forced fumble in Thursday's 23-16 win over Buffalo in Week 12.
Bullock was prominent in Houston's third straight victory and helped get the team above .500 for the first time this season. A second-quarter pick in Buffalo's end of the field set up a field goal, and his third-quarter forced fumble put Houston in business just outside the red zone. That led to the team's final score. Bullock later secured the win by picking off a Josh Allen pass as the Bills threatened to the tie game late in the fourth quarter. The three turnovers forced made him the first player in the NFL to record such a stat line this season. The second-year safety out of USC now has four interceptions in 11 games, a nice follow-up to the five picks he had as a rookie.

Texans' Jaylin Noel: Minimal role on offense
Noel caught one of two targets for four yards, logged one carry for five yards and returned four kickoffs for 96 yards in Thursday's 23-16 win over the Bills in Week 12.
One of Noel's two targets came in the red zone, and the rookie recorded his fourth carry of the season. After a mid-season spike in activity, he's had two or fewer targets in three of the last four contests. Noel's greatest weekly contributions have come on special teams, where he's settled in as the Texans' primary returner of both punts and kickoffs.

Texans' Xavier Hutchinson: Gets one touch in win
Hutchinson did not record a target and had one carry for nine yards in Thursday's 23-16 win over Buffalo in Week 12.
Hutchinson was on the field for a season-low 21 snaps with his only contribution being a red-zone carry. The play started as an end-around on which it looked like he was going to throw the ball but ended up being a nine-yard scramble. This was the second time in three weeks that Hutchinson did not generate a target, but things could change Week 13 if starting quarterback C.J. Stroud (concussion) returns.

Texans' Cade Stover: Targeted twice in win
Stover was unable to bring in either of his two targets in Thursday's 23-16 win over the Bills in Week 12.
Stover played his second game since returning from a broken foot suffered in the season opener. He was on the field for 20 snaps, which represents an increase from Week 11. He's not a big piece of the offense but is a willing blocker as the No. 2 behind Dalton Schultz.

Texans' Dalton Schultz: Quiet night in win
Schultz caught one of four targets for eight yards in Thursday's 23-16 win over Buffalo in Week 12.
Schultz, who battled through a shoulder injury on a short week, had his fewest targets since Week 8. Houston's offense got off to another slow start behind quarterback Davis Mills, and it greatly benefited from the defense, which forced three turnovers and created two short-field opportunities. Those factors kept a lid on the air attack. Despite the low output, Schultz remains a key component of the team's passing game and ranks second on the club with 72 targets and 497 receiving yards.

Texans' Joe Mixon: Responds to report
Mixon (foot/ankle) refuted a report that he is not expected to return this season, Matt Young of the Houston Chronicle reports.
NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reported that Mixon is not expected to return this season, prompting the running back to clap back. "Now, I get everyone's looking for splash news & clickbait... but I'm just curious, Ian how do you know more about me than me?," Mixon responded. The report adds that two sources told the Houston Chronicle that the team holds out hope the running back's foot responds to treatment, but added he was not expected to play in 2025. Mixon has been on the reserve/non-football injury list all season, and in his ongoing absence, Woody Marks (115 carries) and Nick Chubb (105 carries) have handled the bulk of the rushing duties for the 6-5 Texans.

Texans' Nick Chubb: Minor impact in Week 12 win
Chubb rushed six times for 16 yards and brought in his only target for minus-5 yards in the Texans' 23-19 win over the Bills on Thursday night.
Chubb once again was clearly outpaced by rookie backfield mate Woody Marks, who logged 10 more carries and 58 more rushing yards. The veteran now has just 14 total carries in his last three games, and with Marks doing well with his opportunities, Chubb figures to continue filling a modest role in a Week 13 road matchup against the Colts on Sunday, Nov. 30.

Texans' Jayden Higgins: Records fourth TD in win
Higgins brought in four of nine targets for 38 yards and a touchdown in the Texans' 23-19 win over the Bills on Thursday night.
The rookie wideout led the team in targets while checking in second in receptions, as he continued to display plenty of chemistry with fill-in signal-caller Davis Mills. The rookie second-round pick added his fourth career touchdown grab -- including his second in the three games Mills has started -- on an eight-yard catch just before halftime. Higgins has at least four receptions in three straight contests, but he'll likely return to working with C.J. Stroud (concussion) as his quarterback in a Week 13 road matchup against the Colts on Sunday, Nov. 30.
