There are several quarterbacks this week that I like, but I don't expect them to perform at a high level. And Rodgers is one of those guys. He's scored at least 20.8 Fantasy points in three games in a row, and I can see him being in that range or slightly lower against the Colts. It's not a daunting matchup since four quarterbacks this season have scored at least 24.7 Fantasy points against Indianapolis, but Rodgers has only reached that total twice this year. He's a great starter in Superflex and two-quarterback leagues, but I don't love his upside in one-quarterback leagues in Week 9.

Rodgers connected with Pat Freiermuth for half his scoring tosses -- from 19 and 68 yards out -- and his other two TD strikes went to Freiermuth's position mates Jonnu Smith (10 yards) and Darnell Washington (two yards). Rodgers made several impressive throws throughout the night, including the second touchdown to Freiermuth and his game-ending Hail Mary attempt, corroborating he still has plenty of arm strength and continues to demonstrate his mostly difficult 2024 season with the Jets may have just been a hiccup. Rodgers and his teammates will next turn their attention to a Week 8 home showdown against the Packers on Sunday night, Oct. 26.
Rodgers has faced a difficult schedule over the last month, and gets the Packers in Week 8, so a one-week reprieve against the Bengals should feel like a layup. The Bengals are surrendering 7.95 yards per pass attempt and have given up multiple passing touchdowns in four of their last five games. Rodgers' 7.4 yards per attempt is his best mark since 2021, and he is still producing TDs at a high rate like he almost always has.

While that was a significant departure from Week 1, Rodgers was let down by his pass catchers on a few occasions, most notably on a pass in the end zone that was deflected by Calvin Austin on a pass intended for Pat Freiermuth that was ultimately intercepted. With a subpar offensive line and below-average playmakers around him, it's fair to expect more mediocre fantasy performances from Rodgers moving forward.
