  • Rams' Blake Corum: Ankle injury lingers

Rams coach Sean McVay said Monday that Corum (ankle) is day-to-day despite having been cleared to retake the field during Sunday's 17-3 win over Baltimore, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports. Corum briefly exited Sunday's win in the second quarter due to an ankle injury and was initially labeled as questionable, but he managed to return to action after halftime and finish the day with five carries for 23 yards. Only one of those carries came after his return, however. The second-year pro doesn't have clean bill of health yet, but the fact that he was able to return versus the Ravens lends credence to the notion that he'll be able to play in Week 7 against the Jaguars and handle his usual No. 2 role behind Kyren Williams. Rookie fourth-rounder Jarquez Hunter would benefit from increased opportunities if Corum were to miss any time.

  • Rams' Blake Corum: Cleared for second half

Corum (ankle) was cleared to return to Sunday's game against the Ravens to begin the second half, Erin Andrews of Fox Sports reports. Though he didn't log a carry or draw a target on the Rams' first possession to begin the third quarter that culminated in a Kyren Williams three-yard touchdown run, Corum looks like he's available to play through the ankle injury that forced him to the locker room in the second quarter. Prior to leaving the sideline to receive treatment, Corum carried four times for 14 yards in the first half.

  • Rams' Blake Corum: Exits game with ankle injury

Corum is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Ravens due to an ankle injury. Corum was taken to the locker room in the second quarter after sustaining the injury, though it's unclear when he got hurt. The second-year player had carried four times for 14 yards prior to exiting the contest. If Corum is ruled out for the remainder of the game, rookie fourth-round Jarquez Hunter would be next up for backup snaps behind starting running back Kyren Williams.

  • Rams' Blake Corum: Sleeper RBs

Corum is a desperation play in Week 6 with the hope he gets back to helping Kyren Williams in the Rams backfield. He played a season-low six snaps in Week 5 against San Francisco and finished with one carry for 13 yards and no catches on two targets. Prior to that outing, Corum had 17 carries for 74 yards and two catches for minus-5 yards on four targets in his two previous games. This week, Corum could help the Rams beat up the Ravens, who are No. 2 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs. Eight running backs in five games against Baltimore have scored at least 10.1 PPR points, and Corum could be a low-end flex in this matchup on the road.

  • Rams' Blake Corum: Season-low six snaps in loss

Corum rushed once for 13 yards and failed to secure either of his two targets during Thursday's 26-23 overtime loss to the 49ers. Corum's six snaps on offense represents the first time this season he's failed to crack the double-digit marker. Kyren Williams returned to fully dominating the timeshare, playing 62 snaps and garnering a total of 22 touches. Williams did have a costly fumble late in the fourth quarter and was stuffed on fourth-and-1 to end the game in overtime, but the momentum clearly seems to be shifting towards him reclaiming his monstrous usage of last season. A soft Baltimore defense leading the league in points allowed is up next in Week 6, but Corum's steep decline in usage this week will make him difficult to trust in fantasy leagues.

  • Rams' Blake Corum: Week 5 Waiver Priority List

Corum didn't do much in Week 4 against the Colts with nine carries for 21 yards and two catches for minus-5 yards on four targets. But this is now consecutive weeks with at least eight total touches, and he's clearly the No. 2 running back for the Rams behind Kyren Williams. Corum is a lottery ticket if Williams were to miss any time due to injury and is worth stashing on your bench for 1 percent of your remaining FAB.

  • Rams' Blake Corum: Held to 16 yards on 11 touches

Corum rushed nine times for 21 yards and caught two of four targets for a loss of five yards in Sunday's 27-20 win over Indianapolis. Kyren Williams handled the bulk of backfield touches for Los Angeles as per usual, finishing with 94 yards from scrimmage on 16 touches. Corum still saw strong touch volume, but he failed to produce much with his opportunities. The nine carries marked a new high for the Michigan product through four games in 2025, but Corum doesn't provide enough upside in his current backup role to warrant starting consideration against the 49ers on Thursday.

  • Rams' Blake Corum: Week 4 Waiver Priority List

Corum once again looked good in Week 3 at Philadelphia with eight carries for 53 yards, and he now has 13 carries for 97 yards and a touchdown in his past two games. He should continue to work in tandem with Kyren Williams, and Corum is a lottery ticket in case Williams were to miss any time. Corum might even be a flex option in deeper leagues if he continues to produce like this. He's worth adding in all leagues for up to 5 percent of your remaining FAB.

  • Rams' Blake Corum: Mixes in with Williams again

Corum recorded eight rushes for 53 yards in Sunday's 33-26 loss to the Eagles. He also returned five kicks for 115 yards. Corum mixed in with Kyren Williams for most of the first half to match a career high with eight carries. Williams was still the clear lead back with 22 total touches, though Corum's role is expanding, and he looks to have earned the trust of the coaching staff to earn meaningful touches. Corum appears to be one of the top backup running back options around the league.

  • Rams' Blake Corum: Week 3 Waiver Priority List

Corum had five carries for 44 yards and scored his first career touchdown in Week 2 at Tennessee. After the game, Sean McVay said Corum "really impressed," which could lead to the second-year running back getting more work in tandem with Kyren Williams. "I was really pleased with Blake," McVay said. "He's explosive. He's a good football player, I have a lot of trust in him. And then we'll continue to see that moving forward, so I thought that was good today." Corum is a lottery ticket if Williams were to miss any time. And, if his role expands in tandem with Williams, Corum could become a flex option in deeper leagues. Corum is worth adding for up to 5 percent of your remaining FAB.

  • Rams' Blake Corum: Scores on goal-line run

Corum rushed five times for 44 yards and a touchdown and returned three kicks for 80 yards during Sunday's 33-19 victory against the Titans. Corum's first career touchdown in the NFL came on a one-yard rush, pushing his way into the end zone to solidify an already productive day for the former third-round pick. He picked up big yardage on most of his other runs, including a 15-yard scamper in the third quarter that set up a Davis Allen touchdown on the next play. Corum was on the field for 18 snaps on offense, a significant boost from last week's 10, and Kyren Williams struggled for the second straight week, managing just 66 yards rushing on 17 attempts. It'll be worth monitoring the snap counts of the duo as the season progresses, especially if Williams continues to be inefficient as a runner.

  • Rams' Blake Corum: Still ahead of Hunter

Corum recorded four rushes for 22 yards in Saturday's 23-22 preseason win over the Chargers. Kyren Williams and all starters in the Rams' offense sat Saturday, leaving Corum as the first back on the field. He played only one series before giving way to rookie Jarquez Hunter, but Corum still appears to be the favorite to begin the season second on the depth chart.

  • Rams' Blake Corum: Two TDs in preseason opener

Corum rushed nine times for 32 yards and two touchdowns while catching one of two targets for four yards in Saturday's 31-21 preseason win over the Cowboys. Corum got the start with the Rams resting their first stringers, and the 2024 third-round draft pick made the most of his opportunity. He capped the Rams' first two drives with touchdown runs of two and four yards. Rookie fourth-round draft pick Jarquez Hunter, who is competing with Corum for the second spot on the depth chart behind Kyren Williams, had 41 yards on 11 carries. Corum appears to be running slightly ahead of Hunter heading into the Rams' second preseason game against the Chargers next Saturday.

  • Rams' Blake Corum: Taking part in practice

Corum (forearm) has been an active participant at OTAs, per the Rams' official site. Corum suited up for all 17 regular-season games during his uneventful rookie campaign but missed both of Los Angeles' playoff bouts due to a fractured forearm suffered Week 18. The 2024 third-round pick now seems back to full health, though heading into Year 2 he faces new competition from rookie fourth-round pick Jarquez Hunter for the backup role behind Kyren Williams. As a rookie, Corum rushed just 58 times for 207 yards (3.6 YPC) while failing to reach the end zone, adding just seven catches (on eight targets) for 58 yards. Hunter boasts big-play speed that could make him a fitting complement to Williams, so Corum will need to show more this offseason to avoid being stuck in a negligible role again.

  • Rams' Blake Corum: Goes on IR

The Rams placed Corum (forearm) on injured reserve Tuesday. Corum will be sidelined for the entirety of the Rams' playoff run after he fractured his forearm in Los Angeles' 30-25 loss to Seattle in Week 18. The rookie third-round pick out of Michigan played in all 17 regular-season games this season but saw limited action behind lead back Kyren Williams, finishing with 28 carries for 207 yards to go with seven catches for 58 yards and no touchdowns. He also had some involvement on the Rams' return units, bringing back seven kickoffs for 186 yards. With Corum sidelined for the playoffs, Ronnie Rivers will likely be the No. 2 back behind Williams.

  • Rams' Blake Corum: Sidelined for playoffs

Corum fractured his forearm in Sunday's 30-25 loss to the Rams and will be sidelined for the entire postseason, coach Sean McVay said after the game, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports. The Rams secured the No. 4 seed in the NFC at 10-7, but Corum's rookie season comes to a close at the end of the regular season due to an injury that will keep him out at least through the playoffs. A more concrete recovery timeline will likely be established in the coming days. The 2024 third-round draft pick rushed 58 times for 207 yards and tacked on seven catches for 58 yards (on eight targets) as the backup to Kyren Williams. Ronnie Rivers is the top candidate to step into the second spot on the depth chart.

  • Rams' Blake Corum: Exits Sunday's game

Corum was forced out of Sunday's game against the Seahawks with a forearm injury. With Kyren Williams being rested along with several other key starters in Week 18, Corum appeared poised to see an expanded workload versus Seattle. However, the running back exited the game after logging just two carries (for 10 yards) and catching his only target for 12 yards. In his absence, Ronnie Rivers and Cody Schrader are available to handle the Rams' backfield duties.

  • Rams' Blake Corum: Week 18 Waiver Priority List

If the Rams decide to rest their starters in Week 18 against Seattle, then Corum could be a flex option in all leagues, with Kyren Williams likely on the bench. We haven't seen Corum in a featured role in his rookie campaign, and his best performance so far this season is 4.2 PPR points in Week 13 at New Orleans. But the Seahawks have allowed a running back to score at least 12.1 PPR points in five games in a row, and Corum will hopefully have success playing with Rams backups in Week 18.

  • Rams' Blake Corum: Could get large workload Sunday

Corum appears primed to handle an expanded role in Sunday's game against the Seahawks, after head coach Sean McVay acknowledged Monday that the Rams are planning to rest key players such as Kyren Williams in the regular-season finale, Cameron DaSilva of USA Today reports. "There's a handful of guys that could come to mind immediately, but I'm excited about seeing Blake Corum get a heavy workload," McVay said, when speaking about the Rams' approach for Week 18. "I'm excited to see what Cody Schrader is about. I've loved what I've seen from him in some of these practice settings. I think Blake has flashed in some of the opportunities that he's gotten." Though they can secure the No. 3 seed in the NFC playoffs with a win Sunday, the Rams are assured a home game in the wild-card round regardless of how Week 18 action shakes out. McVay suggested that the Rams are content to prioritize rest and injury avoidance to key players rather than going all in on moving up a spot in the standings, so Williams is an obvious candidate to be a healthy inactive for the contest or play only limited snaps. While Williams has handled a three-down workhorse role for each of the Rams' first 16 games, Corum has seen few opportunities, as the third-round rookie will head into Sunday's contest with a 56-197-0 rushing line and 6-46-0 receiving line for the season. The Rams are likely to sprinkle in Schrader and Ronnie Rivers into Sunday's game plan, but Corum appears most likely to lead the Los Angeles backfield in touches and could make for a useful lineup option in fantasy leagues that are still active in Week 18.

  • Rams' Blake Corum: Has huge run called back

Corum rushed five times for 14 yards during Sunday's 19-9 victory against the Jets. The rookie running back ripped off a 32-yard run in the second quarter, only to see it negated by a penalty on TE Hunter Long. Corum was left with his typical numbers otherwise, seeing just nine snaps on offense while Kyren Williams set a season high with 122 yards rushing on 23 attempts, including his 15th touchdown on the year. With the Rams looking to clinch a playoff spot next week, expect Corum's role to continue to remain limited in a Week 17 matchup against the Cardinals.
