Falcons' Cobee Bryant: Battling for roster spot
Bryant (concussion) is battling for a spot on the Falcons' 53-man roster for the 2026 season, Scott Kennedy of SI.com reports.
Bryant joined the Falcons as an undrafted free agent in July of 2025 and spent the first half of last season on the practice squad before signing to the active roster in November. He entered the league's concussion protocol during the Falcons' Week 18 clash against the Saints and finished the regular season with 10 tackles (eight solo) and a pass defense across seven games. Bryant is fully healthy for the start of training camp, and given the depth in the Falcons' secondary, his clearest path to cracking the 53-man roster figures to be as a regular contributor on special teams.

Falcons' Cobee Bryant: Enters concussion protocol
Bryant has entered the league's concussion protocol and has been ruled out for the rest of Sunday's game against the Saints, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports.
Bryant was shaken up after taking a knee to the helmet from Saints running back Audric Estime, and the former will not return. Natrone Brooks and Dee Alford are slated to see more snaps at outside corner for the rest of Sunday's game in Bryant's absence.

Falcons' Cobee Bryant: Inked to Atlanta's 53-man roster
The Falcons signed Bryant from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday, Tori McElhaney of the team's official site reports.
Bryant opened the season on the Falcons' practice squad, and he got his first taste of regular-season action for Atlanta in Week 11 against Carolina, when he logged one solo tackle while playing 14 snaps (11 on defense, three on special teams). Bryant will now join the active roster and give the Falcons a boost in the secondary after Billy Bowman (Achilles) was placed on injured reserve in a corresponding move.

Falcons' Cobee Bryant: Activated from NFI
Bryant (undisclosed) was removed from the active/non-football injury list Tuesday after passing a physical, Terrin Waack of the Falcons' official site reports.
Bryant will be able to participate in practices and preseason games now that he is off the NFI list. He signed with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent in May, and while making the 53-man roster is unlikely, he'll have the opportunity to at least compete for a spot on the practice squad.

Falcons' Cobee Bryant: Goes on NFI list
The Falcons placed Bryant (undisclosed) on the active/non-football illness list Thursday, Terrin Waack of the team's official site reports.
The nature and severity of Bryant's illness is unclear, but he will be eligible to participate in practices and preseason games once he's fully recovered. The Kansas product signed with the Falcons in May as an undrafted free agent. Bryant recorded 37 tackles (26 solo), including 0.5 sacks, seven pass defenses (four interceptions) and one forced fumble across 12 games during his final season with the Jayhawks.
