Tampa may have picked up the injury during the Ravens' 24-16 win over the Colts. He finished with six tackles (three solo) and played on all 80 of the Ravens' defensive snaps as he competes for a backup role at corner. Tampa (hernia) was removed from the Ravens' active/PUP list Monday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Ravens head coach Jim Harbaugh said Sunday that he didn't expect Tampa to practice this week, but the rookie corner was able to exceed that expectation and participated in individual drills Monday, per Ryan Mink of the team's official site. Tampa had double hernia surgery in July and had been sidelined since the start of training camp. He'll now have multiple weeks to show off his skill set as he works toward what is likely to be a depth role in the Ravens' secondary.
