Mims (foot) was not spotted at the Broncos' practice Monday, Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post reports.
Mims suffered a bruised foot in the team's preseason finale against the Vikings on Friday, and he doesn't appear to be ready to return to practice quite yet. The Broncos are two weeks away from their regular-season opener against the Chiefs on Monday, Sept. 14, and the wide receiver will have a few more chances to return to practice this week.

Broncos' Marvin Mims: Dealing with foot contusion
Head coach Sean Payton told reporters that Mims bruised his foot during the Broncos' 34-6 preseason win over the Vikings on Friday, Chris Tomasson of The Denver Gazette reports.
Mims sustained the injury early in the first quarter and was listed as questionable to return after going to the locker room, but he didn't end up taking another snap in Friday's exhibition contest. It doesn't appear to be a serious injury, but his practice participation over the coming weeks will determine whether he'll suit up for Denver's Week 1 clash against Kansas City on Monday, Sept. 14.

Mims appeared to sustain the injury while attempting a leaping reception early in the first quarter. He was able to walk off the field under his own power but was directed to the blue medical tent before going into the locker room. Broncos' Marvin Mims: Could be final year in Denver
Mims acknowledged Tuesday that 2026 could be his final campaign with the Broncos, Nick Shook of NFL.com reports.
Mims has yet to break out since being drafted in the second round in 2023, with his regular-season highwater marks being the 39 catches for 503 yards and six touchdowns he posted over 17 games in 2024. The wideout experienced a downturn in production last season despite logging a career high in offensive snaps, and Denver's acquisition of Jaylen Waddle this March pushes Mims further down the pecking order. Mims said Tuesday the combination of Waddle and Courtland Sutton will force opposing teams to have to "game plan" Denver's passing game differently, but the bottom line is that targets will be harder to come by with two highly regarded receivers on the roster. Mims has taken a positive outlook on potentially leaving the Broncos after the season, saying, "With this possibly being my last year, I'm just going to enjoy it to the fullest, going through it carefree and just play my hardest because we have a real chance to do something extremely special."
