Addison caught a touchdown in Week 11 against Chicago but still scored just 10 PPR points with two catches for 20 yards on seven targets. In three starts with J.J. McCarthy, Addison has combined for seven catches for 103 yards and a touchdown on 22 targets. Hopefully, Addison and McCarthy will start to connect on a high level moving forward, but Addison is tough to trust right now heading into Week 12 at Green Bay. He's only worth starting in three-receiver leagues.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Quiet before last-minute TD
Rotowire
Addison caught two of seven targets for 20 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 19-17 loss to the Bears.
Addison was almost the hero after a quiet 59 minutes, as his 15-yard touchdown catch with 50 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter tied the game, and Minnesota took a 17-16 lead with the ensuing PAT. The Bears answered with a game-winning field goal to drop the Vikings to 4-6. Addison has caught just five of 18 targets from struggling quarterback J.J. McCarthy in Minnesota's last two games ahead of a Week 12 road game against the Packers.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Poor showing on 11 targets
Rotowire
Addison recorded three receptions on 11 targets for 35 yards in Sunday's 27-19 loss to the Ravens.
Addison earned double-digit targets for the second time this season, though he struggled to get on the same page with J.J. McCarthy. Addison has now been held under 50 receiving yards in four of six games this season, including both with McCarthy. He's likely to be a boom-or-bust receiver moving forward, with Week 11 presenting an exploitable matchup against the Bears.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: WRs to Sit
Rotowire
Addison finally played his first game with J.J. McCarthy in Week 9 at Detroit, and it didn't go well. He only had two catches for 48 yards on four targets, and this was the first game all season where Addison was held to single digits in Fantasy points. Addison has now had just four targets in each of his past two games, and the volume might not be there for him since McCarthy has yet to attempt more than 25 passes in any of his three starts this season. I would only start Addison in three-receiver leagues against the Ravens, who have not allowed a receiver to score a touchdown since Week 5.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Finds end zone in loss
Rotowire
Addison secured three of four targets for 26 yards and a touchdown in the Vikings' 37-10 loss to the Chargers on Thursday night.
The Vikings' offense had a mostly forgettable performance as the final score indicates, but Addison still found a way to continue making an impact by recording a four-yard touchdown catch with just under five minutes remaining in the third quarter. Addison has scored twice over his first four games after the delayed start to his season, and he's likely to have his first regular-season opportunity to work with J.J. McCarthy (ankle) as his quarterback in a Week 9 road matchup against the Lions on Sunday, Nov. 2.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: WRs to Start
Rotowire
Addison has scored at least 15.1 PPR points in all three games since coming back from his three-game suspension, and he just had a dominant outing in Week 7 against the Eagles with nine catches for 128 yards on 12 targets. The Chargers have a standout secondary, but the Colts just had Michael Pittman and Alec Pierce each score at least 14.8 PPR points against Los Angeles in Week 7. The same thing could happen for Justin Jefferson and Addison this week, and Addison should be considered a solid No. 2 Fantasy receiver in all leagues in this matchup.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Season-best showing in loss
Rotowire
Addison brought in nine of 12 targets for 128 yards in the Vikings' 28-22 loss to the Eagles on Sunday.
Addison led the Vikings across the board in receptions, receiving yards and targets with figures that also all qualified as season highs. The third-year pro's longest catch went for 34 yards, so he consistently was able to record significant gains during the high-scoring, back-and-forth affair. Addison has displayed excellent chemistry with fill-in quarterback Carson Wentz after the wide receiver's suspension-delayed start to the season, and he's likely to continue working with him in a Thursday night Week 8 road matchup against the Chargers since J.J. McCarthy (ankle) is unlikely to be ready to return with the short turnaround.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: WRs to Sit
Rotowire
We don't know who is going to start at quarterback for the Vikings in Week 7 against the Eagles with Carson Wentz (shoulder) and J.J. McCarthy (ankle) both injured. Given the uncertainty and that both aren't at 100 percent, I would only start Addison in three-receiver leagues against the Eagles. Justin Jefferson remains a must-start option, and No. 1 receivers against Philadelphia have done well with CeeDee Lamb, Puka Nacua, Emeka Egbuka, Courtland Sutton and Wan'Dale Robinson. The only No. 2 receiver to excel against the Eagles was Davante Adams in Week 3, and he scored 14.6 PPR points. Addison has scored at least 15.1 PPR points in each of his two games this season, but I'm worried his quarterback situation and the matchup could limit his production in Week 7.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Atones for early-game benching
Rotowire
Addison secured five of six targets for 41 yards and a touchdown in the Vikings' 21-17 win over the Browns in London on Sunday.
Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com reported Addison was subject to a first-quarter benching for undisclosed reasons, but the third-year wideout ultimately would make up for lost time in clutch fashion. Addison was efficient with his opportunities, and the bulk of those came at the tail end of the Vikings' game-winning drive late in the fourth quarter. Addison was on the receiving end of each of Carson Wentz's final three completions and totaled 21 yards on those catches, the last which was a go-ahead 12-yard touchdown grab. For his part, Addison conceded afterward that he wasn't sure if he'd even be able to play in the game, per Seifert, but he made good on his vow to be ready if he did step on the field. Following the completion of his season-opening three-game suspension, Addison has immediately played a key part in Minnesota's air attack with a 9-155-1 line on 14 targets over his first two contests. He'll now prepare to play his first 2025 game stateside following the Week 6 bye when the Vikings host the Eagles on Sunday, Oct. 19 in a contest that could also provide Addison his first regular-season opportunity to work with J.J. McCarthy (ankle) as his quarterback.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Makes splash in season debut
Rotowire
Addison caught four of eight targets for 114 yards in Sunday's 24-21 loss to the Steelers in Dublin.
Seeing his first action of the season after serving a three-game suspension, Addison had a quiet first half but then turned busted coverage into an 81-yard gain late in the fourth quarter that set up a Jalen Nailor TD reception, as the Vikings tried to rally from a 21-6 deficit. Addison figures to be productive again in Week 5, facing a Browns defense in London that has been far more vulnerable through the air than on the ground to begin the year.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Suspension lifted
Rotowire
Addison's suspension has been lifted by the NFL, which paves the way for the wideout to be available for Sunday's game against the Steelers, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Addison was suspended for the first three games of the 2025 regular season for violating the league's Substances of Abuse Policy, but the 2023 first-rounder is now poised to return to action this weekend against the Steelers. The wideout thus is on track to resume practicing this week and should have an immediate opportunity to reclaim his key role in a Minnesota WR corps led by Justin Jefferson. Addison's looming return figures to impact the fantasy upside of Jalen Nailor and Adam Thielen but will provide a boost to a passing attack that was helmed by QB Carson Wentz in Week 3 and likely will be for at least another week. In 15 regular-season games last year, Addison logged a 63-875-9 line on 99 targets.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Leaves practice early
Rotowire
Addison left Wednesday's practice early with a potential hand/arm injury, Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com reports.
He remained on the practice field as an observer, which is generally indicative of a minor injury. The larger concern for Addison's fantasy value is a three-game suspension to start the season, and it's become a bigger problem for the Vikings now that Justin Jefferson (hamstring) and Jalen Nailor (hand) have been missing practice. Jefferson, at least, seems to be moving in the right direction and gearing up to play Week 1.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Hauls in three passes Saturday
Rotowire
Addison (suspension) caught three of four targets for 33 yards in Saturday's 20-10 preseason win over the Texans.
The third-year wideout was the top downfield option for J.J. McCarthy on Minnesota's opening drive, before both players checked out of the contest. Addison is facing a three-game suspension to begin the regular season (he's allowed to play in the preseason), but the chemistry he's establishing with McCarthy now should serve him well when he's eligible to make his 2025 debut in Week 4 against the Steelers. Addison hauled in 63 passes for 875 yards and nine TDs over 15 regular-season contests last year, and similar production should be achievable if McCarthy holds his own in his first NFL campaign.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Receives three-game suspension
Rotowire
The NFL announced Tuesday that Addison has been suspended the first three games of the 2025 regular season for violating the league's Substances of Abuse Policy, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Addison's suspension relates to a 2024 DUI citation which he resolved legally in July, receiving a fine and probation. The third-year pro now will need to wait until Week 4 against the Steelers on Sunday, Sept. 28 to make his regular-season debut, though he'll remain eligible to participate in training camp and preseason contests. Addison's position in 2025 fantasy drafts figures to take a hit with his suspension official, though the three-game penalty is in line with the NFL's general response for such violations of the substance abuse policy. While Addison will resume operating as Minnesota's clear No. 2 receiver behind Justin Jefferson (hamstring), who is currently not practicing, once he's back in the lineup Week 4, there are real uncertainties about his path to consistent target involvement. In addition to a possible slow start after his suspension, Addison faces competition from both Jefferson and TE T.J. Hockenson (now further removed from the ACL tear that delayed his season debut in 2024), plus the potential for inconsistency from second-year QB J.J. McCarthy.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Gets fine and probation in DUI case
Rotowire
Addison, who had a trial for his 2024 DUI citation Tuesday in a Superior Court of California, pleaded to a lesser offense and will pay a fine and be on probation according to his representation, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
With Addison's court case now complete, the NFL likely will weigh in soon on a possible suspension. Even though he pleaded to a lesser charge, he still could face discipline since the NFL's substance-abuse policy has a baseline punishment for a first-time DUI offense of a three-game suspension.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Beginning jury trial
Rotowire
Addison's jury trial stemming from a 2024 DUI citation begins Tuesday, Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com reports.
Adam Schefter of ESPN notes that a three-game suspension would be in line with NFL precedent in the event Addison is convicted. The league can apply a lower standard than criminal courts, which means even if he isn't convicted, he may not avoid NFL punishment. For the time being, Addison's availability for the start of the regular season is up in the air.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: WRs to Start
Rotowire
Addison is closing the season strong, and he should stay hot in Week 18 at Detroit. He scored at least 13.3 PPR points in six of his past seven games, including four in a row, and he reached at least 18.9 PPR points in three outings over that span. He was held to three catches for 66 yards on four targets in Week 7 against the Lions, but Detroit is No. 2 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing receivers. Look for Addison, Justin Jefferson and potentially Jalen Nailor to all do well in this matchup, with Jefferson and Addison as must-start options.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: WRs to Start
Rotowire
Addison has faced the Packers three times in his career, and he scored at least 21.4 PPR points in two of those games. That includes Week 4 when he had three catches for 72 yards and a touchdown on four targets, along with a 7-yard rushing score. He comes into Week 17 having scored at least 13.3 PPR points in five of his past six games, with six touchdowns over that span, and he has 29 targets in his past three outings. Addison should be considered a solid No. 2 Fantasy receiver in all leagues.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Snags eighth TD on Sunday
Rotowire
Addison had five receptions on eight targets for 35 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-24 win over Seattle.
Addison's fantasy performance was overshadowed by Justin Jefferson's massive 10-144-2 receiving line Sunday, but the former still produced worthwhile numbers for all intents and purposes. The 22-year-old Addison upped his cumulative production to 56-806-8 in 13 games played this season, providing a solid No. 2 option for quarterback Sam Darnold in Minnesota's potent offense. Addison should be in the starting conversation in most fantasy formats ahead of next Sunday's tilt against Green Bay.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Co-leads team in catches
Rotowire
Addison secured seven of nine targets for 63 yards in the Vikings' 30-12 win over the Bears on Monday night.
Addison tied Justin Jefferson for the team lead in receptions on the night while checking in second behind his teammate in both receiving yards and targets. The talented second-year wideout got off to a hot start, as four of his catches came during two first-half possessions. Addison has logged 21 targets over his last two games and parlayed them into 196 receiving yards heading into a Week 16 road battle against the Seahawks where he should be busy once again.
