Asmar Bilal: Invited to workout
Bilal received a workout with the Colts on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of Sportstalk 790 Houston reports.
Bilal went undrafted out of Notre Dame and has spent time with the Chargers and Raiders. The 24-year-old has had issues staying healthy, spending time on IR due to a calf injury in 2020 and being waived with an injury settlement by the Raiders on Sept. 3. Bilal appeared in two games with the Chargers in 2020, playing 12 special teams snaps.

Asmar Bilal: Waived with injury settlement
The Raiders waived Bilal (undisclosed) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Thursday, independent NFL journalist Aaron Wilson reports.
Bilal has had a tough time staying healthy during his first two seasons in the NFL. When healthy, the UDFA will be eligible to sign elsewhere for the 2021 campaign.

Raiders' Asmar Bilal: Reverts to injured reserve
Bilal (undisclosed) reverted to the Raiders' injured reserve Thursday, per the NFL's transaction log.
The UDFA showed promise during his rookie season last year, but a calf injury derailed his progress, and he was ultimately waived by the Chargers. Bilal's 2021 campaign is now in jeopardy, unless he is able to reach an injury settlement with Las Vegas.

An undrafted rookie out of Notre Dame, Bilal made his NFL debut in Week 2, but he suffered a calf injury on the first play. He missed the next nine games as a result before returning for last week's matchup against the Patriots, where he played strictly on special teams. If Bilal clears waivers, he could land on the practice squad.

Bilal made his NFL debut in Week 2 against the Chiefs, but he suffered a calf injury that forced him to miss the next 10 games. The undrafted rookie out of Notre Dame will be available for Sunday's game against the Patriots. He's been practicing for three weeks, so he should be prepared and in shape to return.
