Coleman Owen: Reaches injury settlement with Indianapolis
The Colts waived Owen (concussion) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Owen was slated to miss the entire 2026 season after being placed on injured reserve in late August. The injury settlement allows the 25-year-old wide receiver to sign and play with a team once he passes concussion protocol. Owen logged four catches (on 10 targets) for 68 yards across three preseason games for the Colts.

Colts' Coleman Owen: Placed on IR
Owen (concussion) was placed on injured reserve by the Colts on Sunday, JJ Stankevitz of the team's official website reports.
Owen suffered a concussion during the opening drive of the team's preseason finale against the Lions on Saturday. The wide receiver caught four of 10 targets for 68 yards while also returning four kickoffs for 106 yards and five punts for 68 yards during the preseason. Owen will now be forced to miss the entire season while on IR, unless he is able to reach an injury settlement with Indianapolis.

Owen was elevated ahead of Monday's Week 16 loss to San Francisco and played one offensive snap, getting one target that he didn't catch. Still, Owen showed enough during training camp and the preseason to garner interest from teams looking to add wide receiver depth through the waiver wire.
